Was always late. She was always writing the entire time during my visit, never making eye contact. I felted rushed. I felt like she never got to know me.

This doctor gives psychiatry a bad taste! I agree with all of the other negative ratings. My sister was referred to her from Cedars Sinai. She waited over an hour the first meeting, was given 4 medications. After the second appointment, she was told to come back in one month. Rapidly she went even more into a depression, filled with anxiety, and not sleeping. She took days to call back, was rude to my sister over the phone, telling she was "really busy". If I saw her, I'd tell her she was a poor excuse for a psychiatrist. She puts patients lives at risk by not responding to their calls. She should not be allowed to practice!

Dr. Milton used to be a Pediatrician back home in the former Republic of Yugoslavia. I saw her for fifteen minutes, had a script in my hand and was told to see her in one month. No refills, which is fine, but then she decides to go to conferences out of town for one month, and not even have coverage with anyone else. She blatantly told me to see a psychologist for therapy, as she only prescribes medications (and remember, they charge about 300 dollars to the insurance companies per visit), so she evens out to about 1200 dollars per hour for four patients. In for the money, in my humble opinion.

Every single time I have been to see Dr. Milton, which has been every month for a year, I have had to wait at least one hour. On multiple occasions I waited in her office for over an and finally had to leave without seeing her because I could no longer wait. On one occasion I missed an appointment due to a family emergency. When I called her office to explain and see if I could reschedule in order to get my prescription that I depended on every month, I was told that she had no time available for the next week and then she would be going out of town for a month. I was told that there was no other doctor that I could see and that without seeing Dr. Milton face to face I would be unable to get my prescription. So for a month and a half I had to completly go off my medication, which she had prescribed to me. When she returned there was no apology or even recogniton of what had happened. All I got was a bill in the mail for my missed appointment.

Very patient and personable. She is dedicated to making a refined diagnosis and a correct one. She was very helpful. She is excellent in comparison to any other mental health professional I've ever seen. She was highly recommended to me by 2 other medical doctors in Santa Monica. I would recommend her to others gladly.

Rarely have I met doctors who I would say are totally amoral, but unfortunately, this is one of them. Dr. Milton works in "medication management," but it feels as though she's actually working for the drug companies. She is so quick to prescribe anything, without appearing to care about the details of your symptoms or how they can be prevented organically.
