Dr. Atwood has been my OB since my first gyno appointment 10 years ago. She delivered my daughter and will be delivering my son in a couple of months. I've always loved her and her office staff (Becky, the nurse practitioner, is really tremendous). Great bedside manner and I always feel like I'm in good, capable hands. There's never a lengthy wait in the office and scheduling is never a problem. Wouldn't go to anyone else!!!

Dr. Atwood and her staff are awesome, as in Dr. Z! I have been with them for over 10 years and so glad I made the change to them!

I had the worst treamtent by this doctor, She was rude and was not sympathetic at all. I would not suggest Younger moms to be to choose her. She made this the worse experience of my life. If i only knew sooner i would have switched before i let her deliver my baby. She caused horrible things to happen.

Doc is the best. she really does care, i have read the other reviews about her tardiness, she deliveres babys for a living, there is no way to predict who is going to be in labor and when, hence the tardiness, she could be at the hospital caring/delivering someone. Wouldn't you want the same care? She works 24 hours a day. She has delivered all three of my boys. She is absolutly the best, i would recommend her to everyone, and have.

I have worked with this Dr. and have had nurses who have gone to her for 11 years. I have never seen her do something wrong. She is amazing and I would recommend her.

I started out going to her nurse practitioner, Becky Schmitt, when I turned 18, however, I recently switched to Dr. Atwood. My husband, who is a doctor, and I use natural family planning so I have been charting my cycles for over a year. I knew based on my weird cycles and my charts that I was not ovulating. Becky totally blew me off when I explained what was going on. I made an appt with dr atwood to find out what was wrong and after some testing was diagnosed with PCOS. She put me on clomid and I have to go in every month on day 21 to get a progesterone level drawn to confirm ovulation. One of the nurses, Gretchen, is a complete idiot. She does not seem to understand how the menstrual cycle works because she told me that I should have sex when I was already 9 days past ovulation because I could still get pregnant. That is ridiculous because the egg only lives 24 hrs! Dr Atwood needs to retrain some of her staff! Also, she gave me quite a bit of incorrect info about PCOS.

I think Atwood is very nice. My problem is she doesn't seem like she has time for you. I had a miscarriage back in Jan. 08 and I have been trying to get pregnant every since with no luck! I have had her do test for me! honestly I feel like she won't help me understand why I can't get pregant...I need her advice for this, what should I do, maybe the next step, ect.. I agree with some others peoples responds, You have to wait forever to see her, She is never on time; even delivering..I had to hold my first daughter until she arrived! The other thing is I get this terrible pain in my left side of my stomach and it shoots down my leg, I had to convenice her to run test...she finally did, after 2.5 years and then said I don't know why you are having pain..no advice again to tell me what I might look into doing next. Maybe I am expecting too much.

I love Dr. Atwood and staff.  I switched to her from another ob/gyn, because they were not willing to listen to my concerns.  She always has the answers to any questions that i have.  And they return my calls promtly.  She is a very busy women, and has a great sense of humor.  I recommend her to everyone I know, she takes great care of her patients.  She delivered both of my sons.  I miss being pregant and visiting her office and staff.  Judy and Cheryl are the best!!  Remember when you are going to a baby doctor, sometimes they will get called out for a delivery and may be late.  It's to be expected.

I had a good experience until I was about ready to give birth. I had already been in labor about 22 hours and was ready to push but the doctor was no where in sight!!! I literally had to hold my daughter inside until they found the doctor. Once she came my daughter was born within 10 minutes. This was probably the most painful 30 minutes of my entire life. I know it was 4am but come on this is your job!!
