I just did not like his overall attitude. I just found out I was pregnant he didn't take the time or care to sit and discuss ANYTHING. All he did was send me out for a sonogram. And then when I made another appointment for the results - his receptionist called and said he was in the hospital with heart problems. I just don't need a doctor that needs a doctor at this point in my life.

Dr Scherr is a rare gem(excellent health provider) , I agree with the other patient who wrote that he is concerned with your health and pick up things before your primary care doctor. He makes you feel respected and values your time & health providing you with extra time after your check up to answer all your questions and concerns. For him you are not the next co-pay patient, like many other physicians make you feel today.

Dr. Scherr is empathetic, thorough, and polite; he is the only GYN who offers me a hand-up after the exam EVERYTIME! He has spent hours fighting with my insurance company for medications for me that the insurance did not want to pay for; he treats me like a WHOLE person, is respectful and honest to a fault. He is a one-doc practice, so sometimes the wait for non-urgent office visits is long; but once I am in with him, he makes me feel like the only patient on his schedule, and takes as much time as I need to address all my concerns. He picked-up on other health issues before my GP did! Just an amazing human being, and a rare gem.
