This doctor canceled three appointments for myself and my daughter. I could stand to wait but my daughter really needed a consultation. It took four months for me to meet her. She did nothing for either of us but she told me I would need to come back for a two-part periodontal cleaning and antibiotics. A month later I went back for my first cleaning and she said I didn't need it I just needed a regular cleaning. She was extremely rough with me and kept yelling for me to relax. She said "Did you act like this when you had that baby?" She was also rude to her assistant for bringing her the wrong tool. When I got into the bathroom to rinse my mouth I started crying I was so shocked and hurt. When I got to my car I hyperventilated I was so upset. I will never go back and I will encourage everyone I know to do the same.

had tooth pulled after she said only one was abcess. My sister asked if it was one or two teeth abcess. She told her one. Went back the next day bc of swelling. She then told me it was bc of the tooth next to the one pulled that was abcess, also. She then said "I told you and your sister that yesterday" with attitude. She displayed absolutely no concern for me and tried to rush me out as quick as she could. I understand that I went to a discount clinic due to my lack of insurance, but no one deserves this type of treatment. Also I had called several times with questions. I never once received a call back. I also called the social worker and left a message to see how much the cost of a root canal would be. No response that day. I called back the next day and spoke to the social worker who informed me that Dr Burgess informed her that she had already called me back and answered me. That was my confirmation that she is a liar and most likely a quack. I am getting insurance bc of this. GL

I was in the waiting room for at least 45 minutes after my appt time. There was no air conditioning, the patient rooms looked "iffy" and there was dust on everything. I had the most painful "cleaning" I have ever had.

This was my first visit to Dr. Burgess. I told her another Dentist had looked at a tooth that had lost a filling, and after an X-Ray the first Dr. stated it would need to be surgically removed because it had three roots... Dr. Burgess assured me she could do the extraction. She broke one of the three roots off and now... after having had to pay her the extraction fee, I now need the surgery ASAP... I found her staff very pleasant, but this was very unprofessional of the Doctor IMO.

I HAVE MY TEETH CLEANED EVERY 6 MONTHS. I HAD AN APPT ON MLK DAY WHICH WAS MADE 6 MONTHS BEFORE THAT DAY. I WAS THERE & SHE NOR ANYONE IN HER OFFICE WAS. SHE IS ALLOWED TO CELEBRATE THIS HOLIDAY SAME AS ANYONE ELSE & I UNDERSTAND THAT. BUT MY QUESTION IS " CAN YOU OR A OFFICE WORKER PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL YOUR APPTS TO CANCEL FOR THAT DAY?

DOES NOT RETURN CALLS, HAVE BEEN WAITING OVER 21 DAYS TO HAVE PERM CROWNS. I PAID CASH UP FRONT, AND NOW I CANT GET WHAT I PAID FOR.

This was the absolute worst dental experience of my life. I had to wait while the receptionist called her and told her that I was there and he needed to come in. There was no hygentist at the office. Other diplomas were displayed but not hers. She was rude and unhelpful. She wanted to do a root scraping procedure and when I said I didn't want it at the time, she wanted nothing more to do with me. She did not do a cleaning or take x-rays. Although she still billed me the copay for a full exam. When I told her about the tooth I had been having trouble with for a while, she did not listen and seemed uninterested. The office was dirty and equipment was old. I did not feel at all comfortable in the office and could not wait to leave. She got abrupt with me when I said I would have to call back to schedule an appointment for the procedure. I would not recommend this dentist at all.

This woman is the worst dentist ever. After I switched my pcp into her name, she made me an appointment and told me she would call me back that day since I was in pain and I would be seen before 4p that day. Not only did she not call, when I called her she hung up on me, I thought she call may have dropped but after she didnt call back after 5 mins, I called her back and the phone just rang and then the voice mail came on and told me it was full. This woman is a joke. I hope she never gets a dime of anyones money.People like this shouldnt be in the business of working w/ the public.
