i was disappointed by the service and level of care and went to Dr Harte to have another sleep study done. i had a much better experience and was given options of treatment not mentioned by Dr Morse which seemed like the obvious options to present now that I know about them. Why Dr Morse did not present these to me leaves me feeling like he is not very present with his patiants and is not providing the best service he can. I like the woman Stacy who explains the cpap and bipap machines. She is thorough though when i got my machine she forgot to put the power chord in and I had to go back but she was very nice and helpful. I don't hold that against the office.

Not very effective treatment because they don't follow up to see if treatment works promptly just send you home with set up also bills wrong and excessive. Very frequently recommending new equipment.

Dr. Morse diagnosed me with a sleep test and treated me for sleep apnea for several years before I moved out of Santa Cruz. His office was always very busy, but I was seen within 15 minutes or so, and was always treated well. I found him to be a thorough, competent and friendly doctor with a helpful staff.

Will hardly look at you during your visit. Cold, uncaring demeanor. Makes you feel like you are wasting his valuable time. Told my insurance company that I was doing well when I wasn't and cost me my disability benefits. Worst doctor I've ever seen.

If you want to pay $7,000 for a sleep study with no results or answers to your questions. It costs another $2000 for CPAP rental and $305.00 each month thereafter. Don't see Dr Morse that only cares about money.

Doctor Morse is somewhat knowledgeable but shows little interest in his patients as people. He hardly even looks in my direction during my visits. He asks almost no questions. Office visits are very short and he is unwilling to look at much of anything that I bring up or to discuss insurance issues with me, instead pawning it off on his staff. His staff is pleasant, but not always very careful. I once left some insurance papers there for the doctor to fill out within the next week, when I came to pick them up a week later they could not find them and could think of no way to locate them. Luckily someone who came in the next day found them, but it was pretty scary, because I needed that paperwork for my disability insurance and they are picky about time limits among other things. Also when given a new machine to address my central sleep apnea the technician told me that a full face mask was really the only feasible option. I've since learned this is not the case.

Showed little to no concern. Did not answer questions. Kept making extra appointments whenever I would ask a question. Concerns were not addressed. Ran out of paper towels in the bathroom. Went in for a sleep study, was told they would give me something to help me sleep, and then told that they had run out. Would not return calls.

Dr. Morse is the most knowledgeable physician I have run across for the treatment of Sleep Apnea, including at Stanford's Sleep Center. However, he is very gruff and seems uninterested in the patient as a person.
