okay so people who are sitting here and ****ing about her don't really have anything else to do. Dr. Mahalaha is very busy with her patients but someone makes time for all of them and does a damn god job at it. I might sound baised here but yes I have known her for a while now and she has been my GYN and I would definitely recommend going to her.

Dr. Mahalaha is a very knowledgeable and competent doctor. However, following my C-section she did not come back to check on me. The nurses finally performed my dressing changes and removed the staples before Mahalaha ever examined the wound. On the day of discharge, my hasband and I waited for TEN hours to see her so we could go home. We left at nine in the evening. The staff at the office is horribly rude and unapologetic. I asked to switch physicians in the practice and my phone calls to the office manager were never returned. The wait to see Mahalaha is always over an hour and most times it is over two hours. I would NOT recommend anyone to see Mahalaha for these reasons. For those that live close to this area the office of Dr. Colangelo and Dr. Samanich is only a few minutes away in Westlake and they also deliver at the wonderful Fairview hospital. I have had a very good experience there!

I went to Dr. Mahalaha for a few years, and won't go back... While I think she is a competent doctor, I have had TOO MANY issues with her. The staff is rude. I would wait 1 hr + for EVERY appointment (which was a pain at the end of pregnancy when I was there a lot). I gained 40 lbs during the pregnancy, and I dreaded every appt because Mahalaha would lecture me on weight gain. After my son was born, the day we left the hospital, she didn't stop by my room to examine me - so rather than be at home with my newborn, I was stuck in her office waiting to see her for 1 1/2 hrs!! Totally ridiculous! And no apologies. For those reasons and more, I wouldn't recommend her.

I suffered for more than 2 years after the deilvery of my son because of a the episiotomy she performed on me, which I did not even need because my kid was small to begin with. She was simply in a hurry to deliver the kid, and she ****ed me in the process. She's pretty arrogant, too.
