Dr. Ameika, my Dad, Bruce Ferguson, WWII Marine, died 12 years ago today. I can understand why he is #1 in this area, he operated on my husband for cancer and the heart on a sister-in-law's mother. He and his nurse are one of kind, they are there for the patient and the patient's family. They keep all involved well informed of all they are going to do and/or did during surgery. All is treated with kindness and respect, and neither one EVER talks down to a person. They are the greatest!

Dr. Ameika is one of the best doctors this area has ever had. He was wonderful with my late husband (who didn't trust doctors). He trusted Dr. Ameika and allowed him free rein with his treatment.My husband had lung cancer and was in the 4th stage when we were sent to Dr. Ameika. He and his nurse was always there for my husband. We need more doctors with a real HEART.

I've used this Dr. & a friend who used him lived to be in his 80's after having serious heart problems for years.
