This place is horrible. They do not care about their patients or staff. Connie (the doctors wife) is a nasty money hungry person. She treats her staff like they are garbage. And pays them****. The doctor is always running behind at least an hour. The billing department is full of nasty old miserable ladies that don't give a crap about you or your health they only care about the money. And you will pay out of your ass for an appointment, they have the highest fees I've ever seen. The front desk staff is miserable too, they dont even make eye contact with you when you walk in. I just recently checked my credit report-- guess who else was checking it-- HAMPSTEAD FAMILY MEDICINE-- WHY? I dont know, never authorized them to do so. Dont you need to sign off on that? And why would a doctors office be checking your credit. Come on Dr. Cammilleri what kind of practice are you letting your wife run over there? Someone needs to close this place down. They are a bunch of scam artists.

My family has used this office for years. We had a billing issue and their personnel were difficult to deal with. They didn't even notify me of a problem with getting the insurance to pay until it was too late to correct. So they then wanted me to pay out of pocket for the whole "check up" it totaled about $400. Which is too much for a check-up and shots. Why does the insurance pay a reduced rate but people who pay out of pocket have to "take it up the tailpipe" and pay full amount? years went by and we had financial issues due to other circumstances and they still came after the full amount plus interest. I will never go there again and will tell everyone I know how horrible this experience has been. Most offices will work with you to come to a reasonable agreement.

What a horrible horrible office. It may look all cheery and inviting on the outside but the staff is absolutely horrible. Especially the doctors wife, Connie I think her name is. She is so rude and the way she speaks to her staff is terrible. She may think we couldn't hear in the hallway but we could and it was unbelievable. They are money hungry individuals and don't care about anything but that. The medical assistants are NOT certified like the website says and their son who does the X-rays does not even have a degree! I will not return and I will make sure to spread the word on how awful this office is to family and friends. They should be out of business.

I have been a patient of Dr Cammilleri for over 10 years. Recently I have been very disappointed in the care and service provided by the dr and the new NP Jon. They misdiagnosed a skin condition and ordered dozens of unnecessary tests that they knew my insurance would only cover a portion of leaving me with a $600 bill post insurance for wasted tests. Than in the followup appointment I had to pry and ask for the test results only to be told "everything is fine, go see the dermatologist". The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional, particularly the receptionist and the billing clerk. After my followup appt., my copay was paid and they handed me paperwork and said "your all set, good luck". I received a call an hour later by the receptionist screaming at me that I didnt "check out". since than the doctor has refused to process referrals or help with my health needs. I reported this to Blue Cross and they covered my referrals and told me to "Find a new Dr." Better late than never!!!!

I've never seen Dr. Cammilleri himself, but have seen the other doctors in his practice. The doctors and nurses are great and never had an issue with them. The staff is another story. I had a huge problem with the billing department there. The lady who works for that department is extremely rude. I tried to explain how our insurance had changed they way they pay claims and the portion I owed the doctors, I needed to wait until the insurance company sent me a check and then I needed to take that check and pay the doctors with it. She didn't want to hear what I had to say and just wanted their money. I hung up on her. I paid the bill at another time. When I called later to make an appointment, I believe I was blackballed. They put me on hold for a long time and then came back and told me they computers crashed. Complete lie! I explained how my son needed a vacination for school and they would call me back. Never did! Switched doctors. Best thing I ever did!

I have been going there for about ten years, and never found them dramatically one way or the other in terms of helpfulness or knowledge. But I have been thinking of switching from there for some time. I have had the same punctuality problem as others, a few times waiting more than on hour. But the biggest problem I have with them is their profit motive. I have been referred multiple times (with no positive affect) to a physical therapy practice of which I believe he is part owner. I also noticed recently the addition of TV in the waiting room that plays a looped commercial for some weight loss program. There are now ads posted all over the place (like at the blood drawing station) for the tanning salon at the rear of the building. (The tanning salon rents the space from him.) That advertising is completely inappropriate. Their practice does seem to be heavily driven by the profit motive that has undermined good care in this country.

seems as though after the move to their new building, patient care is no longer priority number one. i was not provided a script refill because i had a $20 balance, (though denied by billing dept.) i had my specialist refill it for me. doing unnecessary testing only to bill ins. my impression is the staff allows their own emotions to interfere with patient relations, possibly not happy with their employment thus taking it out on patients ? if i worked fro doc's wife connie, i would quickly seek a new employer

Billing is out of control they over charge. I NEVER See Dr. C. I see the practitioner. I get delayed answers to my health after extensive tests are done running my insurance up really high. They have an affiliated business in cosmetology and it is EVERYWHERE advertised in their office. I feel very uncomfortable being there based on my personal appearance being described as unattractive based on the fact I suffer from some of the appearances that are considered unfavorable in the cosmetologist world. I feel the practice is more cosmetically driven rather than health. If someone is overweight, they should work with them to improve their overall life changes instead they advocate for cosmetic changes like liposuction and tummy tucks that are short lived solutions for their patients

This practice is all about money money money. Why do you think that they have now opened a "med spa"? Please spare me. You wait forever, the staff is overworked and miserable because of the unfair demands of his miserable wife Connie and he does not have the spine to stand up to her. They go to seminars to find out how many tests they can perform in house and get paid for them and force their staff to perform these tests BEFORE the provider even lays eyes on you. That is POOR MEDICINE and that is the very reason that our Nation is in a healthcare crisis because of practices like this one. One more thing, get your xrays somewhere else, not one of their staff has gone to school to be a Certified Radiology Technician, ask to see a diploma from an accredited school. They cannot provide one. Stay away.

After reading some of the other comments I could clearly see that some patients have a hard time with Doctors. Dr. Cammilleri has been my family physician for years and I have nothing but praise for him. His office staff is friendly, but you could see that they are under a lot of pressure. The practice is a large one and he must be doing something right for it to be that way. I used to work in a Doctors office in Mass, and the reason people get angry with the staff is because they call at the last minute for appointments and think that they should be put at the top of the list. That doesn't always work. From the moment our phones turned over in the morning the phone rang off the hook. Forget about Fridays, that is when everyone who has been sick for the whole week demands to be seen. They do not want to go into the weekend sick. That is the busiest time for a doctors office. Dr. Cammilleri you are the best doctor a person could have.
