Dr. Carson is a wonderful doctor. She took time to answer all my questions and reassured me when I was worried. The office nurses called me with test results immediately. Her knowledge is current and expansive. I have been a patient for many years and have highly recommended her to my family and friends.

I have been going to this practice for almost 15 years. I will say that the service has declined drastically since the practice went from 3 to 2 physicians. I am disappointed and considering a switch.

Dr. Carson runs her practice like the business it is and somewhere along the line has forgotten the very patients who keep it afloat. She depends on an office staff who get put out at having to do their jobs and do not have the capacity to communicate effectively with patients during a problem. Dr. Carson herself refuses to return calls to patients using her staff's perception to make decisions. When I had a very important issue regarding medication and needed to talk to the doctor, not only did she refuse to talk to me, but she refused to help me with the medication. I told the practice manager that I would no longer be a patient there and that I would be filing a complaint. Only that prompted a response from the doctor: a letter telling me that she would no longer provide services for me. I feel she made that decision when she left my health in jeopardy by not solving the medication issue professionally. I have never had a specialist that would not talk to me on the phone.

I was a patient of Dr. Carson some twenty years ago. Perhaps because she was younger at the time I found to be very comfortable with her and her understanding of my problems. The reason for leaving had more to do with the treament I recv'd from a partner (Dr. Eggers) & the hospital as listed above following a traumatic mis-carriage. I swore I'd never again step foot in that hospital or be assosiated with anyone belonging to it. I had hoped when my son was born that Carson would have been on call but she was not, again I got stuck with the other and surprise, surprise ended up w/emergency c-section.

Dr. Carson was not the doctor I saw on my visit I saw a partner. However, I thought I was having a miscarriage and called the emergency number. When I told Dr. Carson my concern she sounded EXTREMELY irritated and in a rude tone said “This does not sound like an emergency!” I guess if you are concerened that you are having a miscarriage to her it isn’t an emergency. Because I never want to deal with Dr. Carson again I wouldn’t go back. She lacks a great deal of ampathy the hospital needs to give her a course in bedside manner. Save yourself from dealing with her cruelness and search for a different OB/GYN.

I guess you have to be a patient for many years to be treated with compassion. Dr. Carson had no bedside manner with me. I had a serious concern and she had cruel remarks. I would not encourage anyone to see her. There are a lot more caring doctors out there who will treat you like a person. She has an attitude that she is better than anyone else. My advice is to look around for a more kindhearted doctor.

Dr. Carson is very professional and takes the time to carefully explain detailed procedures to patients. I have been a patient of hers for 17 years and have recommended a lot of friends to her practice, who also think she's outstanding. You do not feel rushed in her office and she takes time to answer all your questions.

I LOVED HER! Her bedside manner was wonderful and joked with me about many a thing. Her laser hair removal worked like a dream, and asked very apropriate questions that every physician should ask! I do not see how anyone could dislike Dr. Carson, and I would strongly advise anyone to go to her.

This doctor was down right cruel to me. I was very sick during the last weeks of my pregnancy and she had no bedside manner whatsoever, I was so glad she was not on call when I delivered.

I found Dr. Carson to be very knowledgeable, very concerned and did exams in such a way as to make the patient very at ease.
