Dr. Grebler is so very professional. He has helped me so much when I had a bladder infection that would not go away. He is very knowledgeable.

This urologist is arrogant, nasty, and should be forced to surrender his license. I had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with him after hours while he was on call. He didn’t apologize for being 5 hours late in returning my phone call, and would not prescribe anything to help relieve symptoms caused by a very painful bladder infection following a surgery performed by his partner.

I did not like Doctor Grebler because he stated my prostate cancer could be "cured" only by surgical removal. He was impatient to start, but I found a new (at the time) procedure called high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy. I told Dr. Grebler about it; he scoffed "it’s a palliative tactic". An HDR article by Intel CEO Andrew Grove who had it convinced me to go ahead. Three events: 1. As I was being wheeled by gurney to the HDR procedure room, Dr. Grebler walks by me, unaware of me lying on the moving gurney; 2. Months later, I heard Dr. Grebler had contacted my outstanding Dr. Adam Rabin to sign up for a course in HDR! (Dr. Rabin was Chief of Radiology at Monmouth Medical Center whom I first met at Sloan-Kettering and I convinced him to come to MMC); 3. I was in MMC for three days of pin-point HDR via 10"-14" thin plastic rods as perineal implants and then 6 weeks (Mon though Fri) of one-hour 3D conformal radiation. Result: I am still here, 9 years later, ecstatic with the results!

should be sued for malpractice. scheduled my husband for an operation. inserted a catheter which caused a serious infection. we went to hackensack hospital and the urology group up there - there is NOTHING WRONG with my husband and there is NO NEED FOR AN OPERATION - they did several tests in the office that were NOT PERFORMED BY GREBLER. Grebler's staff was nasty and they refused to discuss anything over phone - insisted I come in so they could charge for another visit. PLEASE go for another opinion before letting this guy do anything to you!

He had impressed me with considerable knowledge and thoroughness in evaluating me. He is compassionate and friendly. He was very supportive to my family. His office staff were also very good. His office is very busy.

This doctor is in my opinion, "greedy". I found that he treated my symptoms and not me the patient. When I told him of my problems, he lacked empathy, in my opinion. I was passed around the various clinic's doctors when none of them could really find out what was wrong with me. He seemed more interested in his boat then his patients, thus the long time I spent waiting in front of him for him to finish his phone conversations with other doctors about going fishing. Eventually, they did find a drug that seemed to work, but it left me clinically depressed and thus seeking treatment for depression for several years. After I had enough, I decided to not continue with his practice, and refused to pay a $150 office visit charge. He turned it over to a collections agency, but I am glad I never paid it. I wish I knew then what I know now. I would hope that I could spare you the heartache that I suffered from. I would never go to this doctor or any doctor in his practice again.
