Dr. Hababag is a very good doctor. Yes sometimes you do have to wait and it is crowded because he is one of the few doctors that still caters to the community. He is hard to understand sometimes but he does not mind if you ask him to repeat himself. The first time that I went to him I was very skeptical. I have been in the medical profession for over 10 years. I never offer up that info to another medical professional beforehand. I wait and try to feel them out to see if I trust their level of knowledge. I must say that I do have a lot of medical issues. It takes a well trained and seasoned Dr. To treat me. My first impression of him was like "OMG here we go again." Don't let your impression be the judge. I learned my lesson! Yes, you do have to listen a little closer to understand and you have to listen quickly. But what I have heard from him has always been right on point. He has never missed. I have been misdiagnosed numerous amounts of times by other doctors. I was diagnosed with MS by one dr and come to find out it was only a reaction that I was having to medications that were being combined that shouldn't have been. At one point in my life I was seeing 6 dr's at one time. Imagine the chaos!!!!! Now I only see Dr. Hababag and a pain management Dr. What I suggest when visiting him or any dr is make a list before going in. That way you know all items are covered. People complain that he is quick...he is not a shrink and doesn't have a couch. Tell him what hurts or what's bothering you and keep going. I don't see how the same person complained that they waited all day in the waiting room and then the visit was so quick. That makes no sense. His visits are quick. That's how he clears all of those people out of the waiting room. I will add that it is not hard to get a same or next day appointment with him either. I love him. I am new to Orange but I have friends that have been seeing him for over 15 years.....ms.Darby

went to see Dr. Hababag because his office is located on the same street where I live, so I can actually walk to an appointment. People told me that he was a horrible doctor, I should have listened to them, but I went to him several times because it was so convenient. I would always arrive to my appointments on time, but would always get in an exam room more than an hour and a half later (overbooking?); I basically spent all day at his office. He was never friendly and I could barely understand him. He wanted me in and out of the exam room as quick as possible; when I asked a question, he would give me the quickest answers and he made me feel like I was waisting his time by asking questions. He would prescribe medicine for every little problem; he knew I had Medicaid, so he took advantage of that by prescribing the most expensive medicines ever. He played by the rules and took most financial advantage of one of our medical systems -- Texas Medicaid.
