I found him to be matter of fact and sympathetic. His use of alternative medicine impressed and pleased me. I have no qualms about recommending him

Dr. Cowan misdiagnosed my serious condition (pheochromocytoma) in 1997. Ok, this can happen with my disease. During my follow-ups he was verbally abusive to me. An emergency room visit correctly diagnosed me followed by months of care at DHMC in Lebanon, NH. I fired Dr. Cowan. If I had not been so ill then and for several years after I would have filed a malpractice suit against him and reported him to the New Hampshire Board of Medicine. Cowan dodged a bullet because I was so ill. Now the statues of limitations apply. His behavior was so appalling I am disappointed to see he is still a registered physician. I figured it was only a matter of time. I did notice today his license was expired. I have often felt guilty that I was not able to file a report against him and save another from his care.
