I have been a patient of Dr. Westfall's for almost 15 years. I've stayed with her through three office moves and various staff changes. I find her to be extremely competent, very caring, and very knowledgeable. On the few occasions she has been unable to answer my questions, she has researched the issues and found solutions, sometimes while I wait in the exam room. There was a time when her caseload was so heavy, she was unable to take new patients; however, as a courtesy to me, she agreed to see my mother, who was experiencing some problems and was unhappy with the care she was receiving from her doctor. That was about 10 years ago. Dr. Westfall now treats several of my family members, including my husband and daughters. Those family members range in age from 14 to 74. I have referred several friends to her as well; we all love Dr. Westfall and are very pleased with the care she provides to us.

Dr. Westfall is a very thorough, analytical doctor who also possesses a kind and gentle manner. She knows which questions to ask and is interested in the whole patient, not just the symptoms presented. If you find yourself having to wait, it's because she's extending the same attentiveness to another patient that she will also extend to you.

Dr. Westfall has ignored my concerns for years on various issues. She has prescribed anti-biotics when she didn't know what to do. I have found a doctor who was able to diagnose me literally within minutes. Even though I learned that I have Endometriosis and ovarian cysts, I am glad that a found a doctor who does not ignore my concerns and just prescribe anti-biotics. I feel like I have found a missing piece to a puzzle that I have been searching for. I would not recommend Dr. Westfall to anyone. I would also like to add that I felt very uncomfortable in her new office. It is not clean and is very un-kept.

Dr. Westfall is a fine follower of protocol but does not appear to have any special approach or expertise. Average, as is staff.

Ignored my daugher's complaints about a growing lump on her lower left rib for years. Another MD correctly diagnosed it as a rare form of cancer. My daugher lost that entire rib and a great deal of muscle tissue in removing that tumor. Need I say more?

It is interesting how people have different experiences with doctors therefore their opinions will vary. So, with that said, I think Dr. Westfall is an average doctor. Her staff are just okay as well. I would not recommend her.
