Short visit Dr. wasn't pleased that I had my own frames. He simply lead me to waiting area didn't even say goodbye.
When I went back to pick up my glasses the assistant wasn't as friendly as the times my insurance paid for their frames. Ultimately she didn't even see if they needed minor adjustments. In conclusion, I found a new optometrist near by my home.

HORRIBLE DOCTOR, VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL, HE RUSHED ME IN AND OUT OF HIS OFFICE. HE PRESCRIBED ME GLASSES THAT WERE WAY TO STRONG AND TRIED CONVINCEING ME TO ADD TRANSITION TO MY GLASSES I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THAT WAS, I HAD TO RETURN THE GLASSES AFTER HAVING THEM FOR ONE DAY THEY GAVE ME SEVERE HEADCHES, HE THEN GAVE ME ANOTHER EYE EXAM I ADVISED HIM I DID NOT WANT THE TRANSITION AND I WOULD LIKE TO BE REIMBURSED, HE REFUSED TO REIUMBURSE ME AND BEGAN TO BE VERY RUDE, SO I REQUESTED THE WHOLE REFUND AND HE CAN KEEP THE GLASSES, HE THEN BEGAN TO YELL AT ME IN FRONT OF PATIENTS THAT WERE IN THE OFFICE (UNPROFESSIONAL) HE YELLED THAT THIS IS A DONE DEAL HE'S NOT GOING TO REFUND ME, THIS WAS A DONE DEAL! I WAS TOTALLY TURNED OFF BY HIS BEHAVIOR, I WILL NOT BE REFERRING HIM TO ANYONE I KNOW, I WILL BE TAKING HIM TO SMALL CLAIMS AND I REPORTED HIM TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

I was referred to Dr. Navarro by another patient. All i paid was a copay and received my bifical glasses quite quickly. The staff greeted me with smiles and Dr. Navarro was very professional and helped me understand my changes in vision with cataracts. Good visit!

My exam went smoothly, and easy. This was my firsr eye exam in years. Friendly staff, and very accommodating for single vision needs. I will be bac next year with insurance. Thank you Dr. Navarro and staff.

After my exam and a trial pair of flimsy contacts, my vision felt corrected, but not satisfactory. I went back in a week for a followup and explained that my eyesight still felt a little blurry. After review, Dr Navarro said that I had the correct prescription. This followup exam was so rushed, I'm not confident that it was done in my best interest. He doesn't listen. He just pushes his choice. I told him I wanted my previous brand of contacts but he gave me something else to try and rushed me out. I wanted a year's supply, they ordered 6 months and told me it was a year's. I went on the brand website to confirm that they were NOT monthlies, so the staff then said oh yes, it's a 6 month supply, because they cost twice as much as the first flimsy ones. I didn't want these to begin with. My receipt doesn't show how much i paid for the contacts, it just gives a breakdown of the eyeglasses. I had to also ask for my prescription printout. I won't go back here, because I don't trust them.

I will not be back here again. After cheap contacts that tore on a consistent basis, rude attitude from doc during exam, (wow) I am now searching for another doc. In addition & prior to all my problems: I had brought 5 persons to him and 2 out of 4 said that he was also rude to them as well!!!! Money walks and ours is walking out of your door....Gosh referrals are just SO IMPORTANT they generate money.....do you get it now??

Dr. Navarro seems to listen but he doesn't. I had vision problems with both his contact and glasses prescription but he said they were correct and double checked everything with the same results. The contacts he gave me were too weak and I had to use my readers with them just to see. I decided to use his glasses but after a few days they gave me terrible eyestrain headaches. Took the glasses to him and he said they were made correctly and checked my eyes again and found no problem. I figured by this time he didn't know what he was doing so off to a new eye doctor I went. After explaining everything to the new Dr., he checked my eyes and glasses then promptly told me the prescription was incorrect, the axis was totally wrong. He also checked my eyes with the contacts and discovered they were .50 too weak. After a new pair of glasses and a box of a different contact brand, my vision is great and headaches are gone. I wouldn't trust Dr. Navarro with my vision ever again.

My visit here was great. Only thing was I had rescheduled my appointment and when I came in they didn't have me down, but I was seen anyways and very fast. The doctor was great. He explained everything thoroughly for me

It's true there were times when the staff (or someone further up the food chain) was slow about ordering, but tney seem fine now. And anyway, I've gone to other places that got my glasses to me right on time, trouble was, the glasses didn't help much. It was Dr. Navarro who gave me back my vision - my favorite sense, too - when I thought I was doomed to slow daytime driving and a blurred moon. It was Dr. Navarro who gave me back painting. It was Dr. Navarro who gave me back the faces of those I love. For that I wouldn't care about any of the rest, office efficiency, bedside manners, any of that. I'll never forget walking out of Dr. Navarro's office wearing my new contacts. I hadn't felt such soaring joy in years. My friend asked me what I was grinning about. I told him, "I CAN SEE!"

Dr.Navarro is the worst optometrist imaginable. After waiting 2 weeks to get the wrong prescription glasses, I had to wait another month before I could book an appointment with him to have him look at my eyes again, he works 15 hours a week, so it is very hard too book him. He is rude, unprofessional, and would barely even speak with me during my eye exam, which was rushed, which is probably why my glasses have the wrong prescription. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
