Beware: Charlatan and potential narcissist or psychopath. This man was arrested for insurance fraud and sentenced to more than 3 years in prison in 2019. ‘Chronic Lyme Disease’ is not a diagnosis supported by the CDC. Dr. Bravia defrauded people who sought substance abuse treatment for an organization called Liberation Way and also subjected people to unnecessary and damaging, prolonged antibiotic treatment for people with Lyme disease in his Harleysvile practice. I suspected my son had Lyme disease in 2011 due to the suggestion from a former professor, who I should not have listened to. I took him to a respected Lyme specialist, who didn’t believe my son had Lyme, and my son in fact tested negative. We were both distressed because we had no other explanation for his many neuropsychiatric symptoms. My ex husband, who had previously disregarded my suspicion that our son might have ‘disseminated Lyme disease’ suddenly became invested in finding him treatment, and somehow found Dr. Braccia. This doctor used a sham lab and presented a positive Lyme diagnosis for my son along with a proposal for an extensive antibiotic protocol with some additional ‘tinctures.’ Long story short, I had an intense ‘aha’ moment about a month in when I realized his symptoms were just like emotional trauma symptoms. SEVEN years later he was finally diagnosed with complex PTSD. This man was part of the problem that that delayed my son’s diagnosis. It was a bait and switch to distract from the true nature of my son’s injury, which was narcissistic abuse. You should know Dr. Braccia’s criminal history and story- Google his name and read about the lawsuits against him. He was also part of (mentioned above) the Liberation Way organization that supposedly provided substance abuse treatment in ‘support homes’ where staff members engraved in inappropriate sexual relationships with patients. Essentially, it seems that Dominick Braccia set up ‘treatment centers’ as a way to attract vulnerable (likely already emotionally traumatized) individuals that he could further take advantage of in the form of gaslighting, financial manipulation, medical abuse, and emotional , physical and psychological betrayal. May he never practice medicine again. He deserves no stars, but unfortunately this message cannot be posted without a rating.

Advertises a 86% cure rate on his web page. You'd think there would be a lot of patients posting that they are cured. It seems most of the positive reviews are written by the same person. His wife perhaps?

This doctor saved my life, in no uncertain terms. I could not even be typing this if he had not cured me of Chronic Neurological Lyme. My IQ dropped 40 points in one month, I was seizing and shaking at all times, I couldn’t remember my own husband’s name. The left side of my body — from head to toe — was entirely numb, and many doctors incorrectly diagnosed me with MS, fibromygia, and was assessed by a neuropsychologist as a “psychosomatic hyperaware young woman over-reporting symptoms.” Not only did Dr Braccia believe me, he worked with me to solve my problems. Under his guidance, slowly but surely, I recovered. I’m now feeling 100% and working as a journalist in London. I have a full, happy and healthy life. I owe my life to this doctor, and I highly recommend him to all those in need of compssionate care and who are looking to reclaim their life. Thank you!

The only reason I keep seeing Dr. Braccia is for him. He is knowledgeable, informed and caring. He keeps up with the latest treatment protocols and genuinely listens to your issues and symptoms. I believe he treats correctly and does change protocols through logic and reason. His staff, however, isn't the greatest. They seem completely oblivious to the fact that the people coming in are paying out of pocket and are EXTREMELY ill. We are and have been extremely ill for years. We have severe neurolgical impairment and trying to even get to an appointment without crashing our car or passing out is extremely monumental. They wouldn't even call in a prescription for me. They told me they don't do that. I'm astonished of their ignorance that the patients fighting for their lives can spend 3 hours in their office and not even offer the courtesy of calling in a prescription for antibiotics. When I made the comment of how much money I spent and how ill I am they finally said they can email it over. Every doctors office in existence does this for their patients. The staff seems irritated that they even have to deal with you. I was so ill that I had to pull over a few times because I was vommitting and couldn't even see correctly. I am bewildered by this behavior. The staff is very unprofessional and it honestly makes me not even want to go anymore.

Dr. Braccia is sadly seems to be in this soly for the money. Not only by his total lack of concentration on my health, erratic changing of meds, but also based on a conversation with him. I think his Physician Assistant was far more caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Braccia, sorry, Lyme patients suffer enough with nonsense, then up you pop as the LLMD answer. Would not ever recommend this Doctor. Save your money and research for a caring Doctor, whose goal is to get you better.

Gave my appt to someone else then told me to come back another day after waiting 2 hours. His wife was very rude and he was not very knowledgable about current treatments. I took my records and left his office!

I have been a patient of Dr B’s for almost 2 yrs. I had lyme disease for 12 yrs and was bedridden for 7 of those years when I started going to him. In the years previous to seeing Dr B, I saw 20+ drs, and the best they could come up with was a Chronic Fatigue Syndrome diagnosis and zero effective treatment. Dr B did more thorough testing for lyme and co-infections, and took history of symptoms into account. Under his care, I am now at 50-60% functionality and still improving, which is like a miracle to me (I knew healing would be a process since I have been sick for so long). He attends seminars to keep up with the latest info. He is extremely knowledgeable. He did not push IV therapy, but I opted for it when orals were not enough. In the 2 yrs I have been going there, his staff, including his wife Kim, have been fantastic. I recommend him to anyone I know that suffers from lyme disease.

All they care about is money and are way behind with current information and treatments. They push people's bodies way to hard and end just making people sicker then when they came and then try to make you believe that that is a good thing. You are completely misaligned from the very beginning. The staff is very rude and extremely unprofessional. The doctor and the PA constantly contradict each other, making treatment very confusing. He randomly changes his treatment protocols and gives certain patients special treatment.
