Dr. Gallagher has treated my husband for over ten years and me for five. We have always been very pleased with our care. The staff is wonderful too.

I would not trust this woman with a hangnail. HUGE on testing; TERRIBLE on relaying and interpreting results. This is the place to go if you want to go broke while unnecessarily dying.

Dr. Gallagher is our family physician and sees me and both my elem aged daughters. We are quite happy and have stayed with her in spite of it being a 30 min drive since we've moved. Contrary to the other ratings here, she always takes the time to ask questions and listen to what we have to say. She talks directly to the girls and shows genuine interest in their responses. She has provided good diagnoses for various child illnesses including flue, strepe, and the croup. I recommend her to families who want to have one physician knowledgeable about their collective health (mental and physical).

I came into the office when I was having trouble losing weight. I was eating 1400 calories a day and exercising for 9 hours a week, and hadn't lost weight in three month. First, she tried to sell me on a weight loss plan she clearly gets a commission for. She spent 45 minutes trying to sell me on this plan, after I very clearly told her I wasn't interested, as it was out of my price range. She came across as more of a used car salesperson than a doctor. She then advised me to eat 800-1000 calories a day. That is an incredibly dangerous level for a person of my size and exercise level. Actually, that would be dangerous for even a very sedentary person. If I had followed her advice, yes I would have lost weight, but I also would have lost my hair, damaged my liver, and got a lot of gallstones. I would not recommend her for weight issues. She gives dangerous advice without considering your situation at all.

Dr. Gallagher has always been exceptionally helpful and gone out of her way to explain our questions from the day our daughter was born - and as a mother that goes a long long way. She always takes as much time as we need and I always feel like I can ask her anything. She is the most approachable doctor I've ever met and we drive out of our way to make sure we see her.

Dr. Gallagher makes snap judgments and ill-founded recommendations because she doesn't take the time to listen to her patients or study test results. She gets very impatient when you try to ask her questions. She's also very difficult to reach since she has limited office hours and no desire to return calls. Her assistants aren't that much better.
