Prior to choosing this or any surgeon review www.mbc.ca.gov. You will find that Dr Chadha is on probation for 2 years for neglect and incompetence involving a patient. He has been asked to take a class in ethical behavior. I had an urgent surgery performed by this Dr at Sharp Memorial hospital. Follow up instructions were extremely lacking and I have never been spoken to so disrespectfully in a medical setting. For follow up appointments, the wait time was typically extremely excessive. The impression was that Dr Chadha and the office like to cram in as many patients and surgeries as possible.

Dr. Bugby (in a second opinion) said that replacement hip installed last June has recessed deeper into the bone. The operation must be redone to avoid physical limitations and pain. Dr. Chadha could find nothing wrong but twice prescribed useless steroid injections for pain.

From my very first appointment with Dr. Chadha I knew I finally found the right doctor to do my hip replacement. He took his time to explain to my husband and I the different options involved and answered all our questions. He was professional, friendly, and we felt very comfortable with him as my surgeon. It has been a month now and I am progressing as he told me I would. It is wonderful to be pain free after so many years. People have complained here about having to wait for him but I have only had to wait once however once he came into the room he made me feel like I was his only patient and listened and answered ALL my questions. I did not mind the wait becaue he took his time with me. I would recommend Dr Chadha to anyone needing a hip replacement

HORRIBLE: LATE 2-3 HRS EACH APPT.(7X) TO BUSY FLIRTING WITH ASSISTANT AND TRASH TALKING OUT SIDE YOUR ROOM WHILE YOUR WAITING FOR HIM, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, GREAT B*LL SH**ER BUT SOMEWHAT KNOWLEDGEABLE. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW HE MADE IT ON THE TOP 10 LIST. IF YOU WANT TO HEAL FAST OR AT ALL PLEASE BEWARE OF COMING HERE.

I used this guy several times because he seemed knowledgeable - he's smart according to another doctor I met - I think he is - he's a nice guy and wants to help - he is just so gosh darn late all the time - the wait in the waiting room on all times I saw him took forever!

Dr. Chadha was 2 hours late for my husband's surgery with no explanation. For 3 of the 4 postop appointments, we had to wait over an hour in the exam room with no explanation or real apology. His bedside manner is extremely awkward. Even after waiting an hour for the appointments, he would just walk in, not say hello, and then say to my husband "Well, let's see it" and that was my husband's cue to start unwrapping his limb. He seemed to be knowledgeable enough and my husband is healing well so far but the additional aggravation has made the whole process a trial.
