I like the Dr, Pearce, but the office and the greedy machine he works for is not to my satisfaction. Health care in America, today is 100% BS! It about the money, the money, and its about the money: not the patient!

I really like Dr. Pearce. After suffering through two other docs we relocated to The Woodlands from out of state. Dr. Pearce has always shown a keen interest in my LGI health, even opening his office to meet me one Sunday to check me out prior to an extended business trip to China....no charge, just providing excellent service.

Dr Pierce attended to my colitis proscribed prednisone and welcol it worsened my condition. I experienced severe weight gain. When I asked Pierce about my continuous and increased join pain an weigh. He stated that is impossible I put you on medication that doed not cause weight gain. A simple google research clearly states the side effects as sever weight gain and tendinitis caused by welcol. When waiting for resukts if a test fir possible chrones desease Pierce keeped me waiting for an hour to give me test results. Chastised my hysban for his delay of providing results. Pierce is incompetent rude and arrogant. He apparently been confortable with pushing arround elderly patients and not used to being questioned. Read other comments similar from others. Avoid this doctor there are many others in the Woodlands.

Went to him for several years. Put me on meds for IBD. Approx 20 pills a days. Was hopspitalized for stomach issues again and came in my hospital room and said I did not have IBD even though he did not do another colonoscopy or endoscopy to determine this. He just decided this out of the blue. I asked him if I should stop taking the 20 pills he had prescribed for me to take nd he said yes. I spoke with a friend of mine who teaches A&P at college. She said that something similar happened with her son. She considered him completely incompetent and both of us considered suing him.

This doctor misdiagnosed me with colitis and had me on tons of medications for seven years. Then, one day he came into my hospital room and said I never had any thing wrong with me even though he he had not performed a new colonoscopy. I asked him if I did not have anything wrong, should I stop taking all of the drugs he had been proscribing for the past seven years. He looked surprised like he had forgotten that he had put me on all of the medications. He then responded yes to stop taking the meds. This was enough to let me know he was completely incompetent. I found out later that a anatomy professor colleague of mine had a similar experience with him. She said he was the worst doctor she had ever been to.
