Dr Jason Powers is an excellent doctor and takes the time to explain conditions and treatment. I find him attentive and caring. I have a seven year history with Dr Powers with NO complaints.

I went to Dr. Powers for a couple years and he just never seemed confident in his diagnosis and treatment. Also I had blood taken on several occasion and it always took them many pokings before they could find the vein and t was very painful. I have never had this issue any where else that I have gone. I am now at a different doctor and am very happy.

I went to several doctors at the North Liberty Clinic, and Dr. Powers was one who really listened to me. He was knowledgeable about what tests to do and where to go from there. I left his office feeling hope for the first time since trying to get taken care of. I would recommend him to my friends in an instant.

Dr. Powers leaves you feeling like crap. He is very arrogant and uncaring. He makes you feel like you are a bad person and focuses on the negatives and doesn't commend you on anything you are doing right for your health. I have seen him now three times and still did not feel any connection with him. I will be asking for a new Doctor my next visit.

I thought Dr. Powers was very attentive and on time. He answered my questions and I was happy with the care he provided. I work in the medical field and I thought he did a great job for what I was in to see him for.

Dr. Powers is not the most knowledgeable doctor. He does not take time to answer your questions, and seems to be in and out quickly, so you do not feel as if he cares at all. I would not recommend him.

I had several visits with doctor Jason Powers. I found him to lack a lot of knowledge. I'm not claiming to be the expert, he just never had answers to my questions. Many of them I looked to the internet to find! In one case he couldn't even verify something I read about on the web! He seems to be too young for me and I'm in my 20s! He is a young. Although he has the potential to be a good doctor, in my experience he was not quite there yet! I don't think he has a very broad knowledge. If you have Hypertension DO NOT see Doctor Powers-- He will be clueless! There are much better Doctors in the Iowa City area!!
