I’ve had Dr. Pozzi since he came highly recommended by Dr. Mruz upon HIS retirement several years ago and wow, jackpot, AGAIN! I’d been going to Dr. Mruz since 1978 and started with Dr. Pozzi around 3018, I believe. Couldn’t be happier except now HE’S retiring at the end of March though I plan on staying with his practice.

My appointment with Dr. Pozzi was disappointing. He is ready to retire and seems to have one foot out the door. He misses too many details regarding a patient's medical history which in my case led to additional hospital time. His office staff is only interested in whether or not you can PAY your BILL.

Dr. Pozzi is a compassionate doctor but it ends as soon as he walks out of your exam room. He needs to change his scrubs if he has dried blood stains on them. This threw me off a bit. Also, there were too many errors on my post-op report which could and did change further treatment. Office staff is overworked, doesn't return phone calls in a timely manner and hasn't any compassion or empathy for patients.

Dr. Pozzi is personable and knowledgeable, and has great bedside manner. He has made me feel confortable in an embarrasing situation. Some front desk personnel are less than helpful, and also are somewhat carefree about asking personal and private information which the whole waiting room can overhear. Office doctors are great, female employees (ironically)are less good with patients.

He has a professional attitude about himself and the office as well. He does seem to be rushed at times - I don't know if they overbook or if they are just that popular.
