The worst doctor I've ever been too, hands down. Kept me waiting for over an hour with a 9:30am appt. Her first question in the door at 10:45am was not to apologize for the long delay, but to ask me if my sniffling was something contagious, and tell me that I better not get her sick. She then sat me on the exam table and only talked to her scribe, not directly addressing me at all while using medical jargon that I assume she thought I couldn't understand. (I did.) To my surprise, she then openly laughed and mocked my "poor alignment" and said I needed to go to a chiropractor. As for the reason I went in? She told me there was absolutely nothing that could be done outside of spending more $$ on a chiropractor/therapeutic massage, and then said if I found a good place I should send her their business card so she could refer future patients. I did some research afterward and there are plenty of other options to help alleviate my issue. So I essentially paid a $20 copay to sit for over an hour, and then be insulted, belittled, and given poor medical advice.

Horrible doctor. Thinks she is better than you and will not listen, she will then lie about the visit in her clinical notes.

Dr. Woodrum cane to Hawaii to fill in fir a physician while she is on maternity. I was a bit hesitant to see a new doctor, but once meeting her I lived her professionalism, knowledge and friendliness. She made time fir me, and I left wishing she was my primary doctor! Truly a physician with a heart!

dr woodrum was wonderful & i was sad to see her leave her practice after having her be a part of my medical team since i moved to colorado in 2004. she was always willing to take time with me & answer any questions i had; finding a good d.o. even in colorado isn't easy. if you're looking for someone who looks at your health as a whole instead of just small parts she is fabulous…& unlike what some of the other responses lead one to believe, she is willing to prescribe meds when needed.

I had been a patient of Dr. Woodrum’s since 1999. She always went above and beyond. I am no longer her patient due to the fact that she chose to move back to her hometown in Kansas and I live in Colorado. To address your issue that she suggests “alternate” treatment methods should be considered an honor. In this day and age when most doctors and patients just want to prescribe subscriptions and send their patient on the way; Dr. Woodrum analyzes alternative methods first. I know her personally, and NO, she does not “get a huge cut” or any monetary benefits at all. However, most doctors who push the latest pharmaceutical drugs do, in fact, get some sort of “cut.” (Usually under the table by “Big Pharmy.”) Dr. Woodrum is a fantastic doctor. It was a huge loss to the state of Colorado to lose her.

I was disappointed to see that everyone here rated this doctor low because she reccomended other alternative treatments. I was actually excited to finally have a doctor that knows the value in some of the alternative therapies. She is also Nice and caring, and though My family rarely goes to doctor at all, when we do, we see her, and have for years.

Dr Woodrum in my opinion was useless at providing me with options for actually treating any of my conditions. She also tried to sell me on alternative treatments which were not appropriate to my care.

Dr. Woodrum went off when I asked her an additional question during my visit. She yelled that if everyone asked additional questions, she would never have enough time for all the patiece. I had told the front door that I was visiting for 2 issues. She didn't explain, she YELLED!!! I was embarrassed because I'm sure everyone heard. The front desk didn't look me in the eye as I checked out. What a horrible visit!!!

She charged me extra for a PAP smear that should have been covered under my regular insurance. In addition, for headaches that were cured with proper teeth/jaw alignment she prescribed massage therapy which left me screaming in the middle of the night because my shoulders were in so much pain. NO ONE should EVER see her!!
