I have gone to see her a number of times for physicals and other visits because of others in office seeing her. My wife also sees her. I like the fact that she has summited Denali, run marathons, etc. - she's been active. However, I am very concerned about the fact that she (and the others in her office) tend to prescribe HEAVILY. She gave me Allegra and I had a very bad reaction to it (heavy heart beat all the time, insomnia). The response? "Here's another drug that's weaker and shouldn't be as tough on your heart." An FNP I see at the office is much the same way, immediately reaching for a drug. I'm a young, fairly active person. I have some lifestyle issues that I really need to address (diet, amount of exercise, etc.), and I had hoped that I would get that from an active doctor. Not the case. If you are interested in living a healthy lifestyle (as opposed to a heavily drugged lifestyle), I would suggest another medical office.

Failure to diagnose breast cancer in a timely manner. Belittled my concerns. Inaccurate note keeping. Over prescribed drugs. Doesn't keep current on reading medical journals.
