I have seen many psychiatrists in my life, and I have never met a more emphatic person than Dr. Solt. All other psychiatrists are just 'psychiatrists' and lack knowledge about the importance of the interaction between mind and body. After evaluation of my genetic and eating/living habits, her recommendations were SUPER helpful. It may well be that my problems in fact did not start in my head but other psychiatrists did not bother to investigate further. Thank you Dr. Solt for improving my health and life.

I believe this doctor engages in unethical practices. She “prescribes” “high quality” vitamins that must be purchased on a preferred website. Most of these vitamins can be obtained through Amazon. I wonder if she gets a commission. She orders or recommends expensive tests of dubious value that often aren’t covered by insurance. She engages in pseudoscientific notions like detoxification. She failed to explain the risks of a drug she prescribed. I agree with the person who commented that Dr. Solt is a poor listener. I would not recommend her.

Dr Solt is an outstanding clinician and is interested in a holistic approach for overall well-being, not Judy psychiatric illness. For a serious psychiatric test requires medications as part of a recovery regime, you will not be in better hands than Dr Solt. Additionally, Jan, Dr Solt’s administrative assistant, is exceptional. I’ve been a client of Dr Solt for 15+ years and I trust my health to no one else.

She is very good with her medacations and on what helps. I like that she goes towards natural meds first to see if they work. I find her to be very judgmental and doesn't understand me. She doesn't understand why I get upset when I do and believes I should eat off of nuts, water, and vegetables. I get incredibly anxious for weeks in advance going to her. She scares me so bad and is a brick wall- no Personality or facial expressions.

This woman is in the wrong profession. She is detached, judgmental and doesn't have much interest in me, my family or my problems. Worst of all, she is condescending and on the rate occasion when she does address one of my issues, she always gets all of the details wrong. I don't believe she listens to a word I say, and I will not be returning.

Beautiful Office, pleasant staff. But I found her to be aloof and extremely anxious. She had many distracting habits, e.g. repeated words like "Sure. Sure. Sure" and tossed her hair back. Even though she wrote through majority of the visit, she never seemed to remember what I told her from one to the next, though I had to correct her recollection EVERY time, she still got it wrong. I'm told by others that she knows her meds, and I don't have any complaints there, but at $450 for the initial visit and $180/visit (4 x year), I couldn't afford her anymore, and so couldn't get them either. She never seemed to try to know me. I must say, however, that this is par for the course with psychiatrists. Finding one who knows the meds, takes time with you AND doesn't seem to have their own DSM diagnosis is a rarity indeed.

There is greatness in Summit N.J., and her name is DR.Veronika Solt. She goes beyond the line of duty, and puts her heart and soul into her practice. Her upmost desire is to get a cure for her patients. She is on duty 24 hrs., a day, with knowledge, helpfullness, and professionalism.
