Dr. Moricca always says that Newport Pulmonary Associates are there to help, but when I needed them, they were not there to help. The office has this Patient Services Program, which costs several hundreds of dollars annually. (This fee is not covered by insurance.) If you pay the fee, you get prioritized scheduling, discussion of all tests and laboratory results with a doctor, and they will waive fees usually charged for completing forms. If you do not pay the fee, good luck. I agree with the other reviewers who say that the staff is rude.

Dr. Morrica is absolutely the best! He is always concerned about ones health issue and caringly diagnosis the problem and treats it successfully. He gives you the necessary time to discuss your concerns...... One never feels rushed. For the time you are in his office, he gives you the feeling of being his only patient and anyone who knows him knows this truth. He is not only an excellent doctor but a very fine human being! He is deeply admired and respected and I'am grateful to him and for him! The BEST, simply th BEST!

Extremely helpful showing great personal concern when I had 5-way bypass surgery years ago. Went the extra mile as far as I could tell, in his concern for my problems.
