I'm also afraid that he's going to retire. His partner is named as a Holy Cross physician now but he's not named at all under their "holy" umbrella. His nurse, Leslie, was wonderful. She's gone and only air-heads/ automatons/androids left there. They don't really listen. They just rush you along. There are no more choices for the "nurse's station" or "lab results"; just general information that probably is handled by a Holy Cross not-so-hotline. I'm sorry that Holy Cross has become Pac Man gobbling up all of the private practices that were once good, who knew their patients, their needs and recognized patients as individuals. I called the office and got no response. I hope that I can find another Douglas Neimand somewhere else.

I dread the day Dr. Neiman retires. The knowledge, compassion and understanding that he gives his patients is beyond the norm for most Drs. these days. I can trust him to always go above and beyond what is necessary to treat whatever the problem is. He is brilliant and the absolute best!

Dr. Neimand is listed as "in network"but unfortunately does not take my insurance anymore. I was really disappointed that he did not take my insurance .He is not only an excellent diagnostician and doctor but compassionate and patient. He cares about his patients and fights the insurance companies to make sure you get the care he feels is right for you. I would highly recommend him if he is on your insurance plan.

Dr. Neimand is not only an excellent diagnostician and doctor but compassionate and patient. I have used him for more years than I can count. Even when he didn't take my insurance I paid out of pocket because I wouldn't change doctors. I only hope he doesn't retire for a long long time because I don't want to lose him.

Sadly after more than 30 years of being a patient in this office, my insurance changed and although Dr. Neimand is listed as "in network" he chooses NOT to take my insurance anymore. Just like that, I no longer have a doctor. I am shocked by this after so many years of having a lovely relationship with my doctor. I am now in search of a new doctor. I never thought it was all about the money, but apparently it was. One thing I won't miss is the office staff as they are AWFUL and rude. The doctor's nurse, Leslie, is the only saving grace... she was always wonderful.

Neimand has been my doctor for 30 years. He is patient, kind, and very helpful. He is also quite personable. He is knowledgeable and has helped our family through many emergencies. I would highly recommend him. Good luck.
