Dr. Grantham done surgery on my right eye for a cataract, and said I would have or be close to 20/20 vision when he got done. A month later I had 20/60 and I ask him why did I not get better vision than that and he said because of the astigmatism in my eye. He went on to tell me about a doctor in Augusta Georgia that does the type of surgery I needed every day, the Eyeguys would have installed the correct Lens in my Eye to correct the cataract and correct the astigmatism at the same time. The lens he put in my eye does not fit comfortably and my eye is miserable all the time. Dr. Grantham should have referred me to someone else if he wasn't comfortable with installing the lens that I needed. I explicitly told him that I was self pay and wanted the best. I went to him because my motherinlaw and my father went to him and they didn't have any problems. I will never refer him to anyone.

Took 5 weeks to select a dr for cataract surgery. Dr Grantham & Staff were the perfect choice. Second eye done 2 days ago. 20-30 in both eyes now, had worn glasses for over 50 yrs but no longer. He is patient, calming and apparently very skilled with his hands. He measured my eyes for the perfect implants. Choose him.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes which came on suddenly. I could not be more pleased with the care I received from both the Dr and his great staff. I would highly recommend this office above all others in Aiken!

Dr Grantham recently performed emergency surgery on my son's lacerated eyeball...in the middle of the night AND he was back checking on him at 8:00am! He took the time to explain exactly WHAT he did and WHY, and his staff was extremely helpful in aranging follow up appointments with a retina specialist. I would definately recommend him!
