This Doctor was very crass, short, abrupt and became frustruated when his accent became an issue when I could not understand certain things he was trying to say and asked him to repeat them. He is VERY quick to make decisions. He becomes irritated when he learns that you have done your own research and what you have learned is not in line with what he believes. Very uncomfortable with this visit. STAFF WAS WONDERFUL

Very arrogant and dismissive. I was referred by my physician for a confirmation of an autoimmune liver disease. He knew little about it (which was expected) but was unprepared. Asked several times why I was there and did I really want to know I had a liver disease since there was nothing that could be done about it until time for a liver transplant. Dismissed my symptoms even though he never asked about my symptoms. Did do an ultrasound and told me the results were good until I asked for a copy- then had to sidestep the minor findings. So I don't feel he was upfront about my condition and there ARE treatments to slow the progression. He referred me back to my physician to do liver testing every 6 months but neglected to tell my physician that he expected him to monitor the liver enzymes. My physician assumed Dr. Tokunaga would be following up.
