Outstanding surgeon. One of the best in the world if not the best in the world. He performed a protectamy on June 16, 1996 and now it is 20 years later. Gratitude to the good doctor.

Had prostatectomy surgery performed by Dr Slawin using the Davinci robot. After short healing period, fully regained urinary control which was my main concern. sexual function is recovering at a positive rate. Dr Slawin's staff is top notch and actively supports you pre and post surgery. My first post surgery PSA was undetectable which indicates no cancer was left behind. All positive outcomes is a factor of the skill of the surgeon. Dr Slawin is one of best.

Dr. Slawin is a very skilled surgeon. I was walking the afternoon of my surgery and back at work a week later .Not bad for a radical prostectomy ! The Vanguard team delivered the full package . The aftercare counseling by John Dodge was effective and proper expectations were set in regards to recovery milestones .I could not have been more pleased with the entire process and results .

Dr. Slawin performed a minimally invasive prostatectomy that allowed me to leave the hospital on the day after surgery. The Physician's Assistant, John Dodge, who assisted in the surgery is friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, and he explains medical treatments and alternatives very well. I was especially pleased to get an initial appointment within two weeks of my first phone call. I found the staff to be pleasant and efficient from patient reception through examining room etiquette. The wait time in the reception area for me in each of four visits has been less than ten minutes.

Dr. Slawin found my prostate cancer that others had missed. I was very nervous but Dr. Slawin and his team reassured me that I would be alright. True to his word, I have fully recovered after a Robotic Prostatectomy and am cancer free! My urinary control is back to normal and I am able to have good erections now too. Dr. Slawin's caring and compassion, along with his experience and professionalism helped me through this terrifying ordeal.
