I am AMAZED at the scores Dr. McMasters has. He has been my primary care Dr. for almost a decade and frankly, I think he pretty much walks on water. One of the things I like the MOST about his medical treatment style is that he involves me in what he wants to do. He asks what I think I need then after he perscribes he asks if I am comfortable with the treatment. Nobody is perfect 100% of the time but this Dr. knows his stuff. I am extremely pleased to be his patient and am grateful for his skills and knowledge that have helped me and my family for years. I hope he stays practicing for a long time to come.

From the beginning I felt that he was not listening to me, or at least he made me feel that he did not care how I felt or what medical help I needed. He is not at all friendly, and after every appointment I had this feeling like I should apologize for bothering him. (Not that I did, but I certainly felt like I should) I gave him four chances to prove me wrong, but the last straw was when I had him paged because I was in terrible pain and when he finally returned my call: he was rude, spoke to me like I was an idiot, and basically made me feel as though I wasting his time, and that I was stupid for ever expecting him to help me at all. I will NEVER go back to his office and I am sad to think that both of my parents think he is so wonderful.

I had to deal with Dr. McMaster when my mother was sick. He is her MD. He did not call back in an effective time manner and when he did and spoke to me( I am also a medical professional, not and idiot) he treated me like I knew nothing and was stupid. My parents like him but I feel different. I agree that he is rude.

Dr. Ian McMaster is not only unknowlegeable, but very rude. He has a listening problem and an arrogant attitude. I will never go to him for anything again!. I was so frustrated I nearly left in the middle of my appointment. I got tired of being interrupted while I tried to explain why I was there. After awhile I just sat there and let him go on and on about an illness that was totally unrelated. I went back to my regular physician's office the next day. Thank God he is not my only choice. For your own health and happiness, stay away!
