Awesome, No other doctor has ever taken the time to explain my problems to me. His diagnosis was accurate and the surgery exceptional. Would not have anyone else ever touch me. I wish I could say the same for the Provo City Hospital. Would never go back there.

Dr. Gardner did 18 of the 19 brain surgeries I needed. During surgery #17, I awoke 100% paralyzed on my right, dominant side, had a droop in my face & slurred speech. He chose to do my surgery on NYE and for whatever reason he "got in a hurry" and didn't use the correct & necessary machinery for my surgery. He chose to go in blind, resulting with stabbing a shunt tube in my brain. I had to live in a rehab facility for almost 4 months to learn how to walk, use my arm, talk & get my memory better than approximately 30 seconds long. I was so very hurt by this, as I was in my 20's and also because I loved him almost like family. I later had another Neurosurgeon do my surgery and he had to do a lot of repair work. He said that when he opened up my head "he'd never seen anything like it! It looked like he knew he'd have to go back in & made my head like easy access leaving guaze to protect where my skull once was." Luckily I had a plate put in to protect my brain better. But again, doctor Gardner was special to me, as he had done 18 brain surgeries and umpteen abdominal surgeries on me. I lost count because there were so many. I wish I could find another neurosurgeon with the personality like his, but only with better skill.

He is awesome. In every way. Health care today seems increasingly uncaring, but he is not. He is skilled, caring, available and the Dr to have in your court when in need.

Wait time in the waiting room is well worth it. Very personable and spends time educating concerning the diagnosis and treatment. Surgery went very well. Couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and care I received.

Dr. Gardner is very professional, knowledgeable, skilled, and caring. Wait time to see him after we're in the waiting room is very flexible -- sometimes we wait just a short time, and other times we wait more than an hour. The reason is that once you are visiting with him as he checks on your progress and needs, it seems that he has all the time in the world for your case. So, there is no problem with the waiting because he is treating the patient in front of you the way he treats you. Simple, no? If the results of your surgery have not yielded the desired results for whatever reason, he goes to great lengths to solve whatever is wrong. Dr. Gardner is superb . Could not ask for better anywhere.

I was in constant pain for a full month and had been on a wild goose chase until I saw Dr. Gardner. He was able to diagnose my herniated disc in my neck and give me the options for repair and mending. I elected for surgery and I am 100% better. Dr. Gardner was very professional and clear on what he was going to do to my neck to fix the problem. My follow up visits with his staff were quick and helpful.

Dr. Gardner is a nice guy. Very thorough and seems caring. However, he takes a long time getting back to his miserable patients. I also don't think he knows how unprofessional the rest of the staff is. I have been in excruciating pain for over a month now and I'm pretty sure everyone knows my name at that office since I'm always calling to check on my results, calling to get some answers, calling to see if any one is going to help me take this pain away. No one has been caring enough to say, "I'm sorry you're going through all of this..." When I am put on hold for a long time they come back and say, "are you still there?" instead of politely saying, "I apologize for the long wait, how may help you?" They lack professionalism and honestly, I'm not sure how they all have a job. I work in an animal hospital and my patients get better care than I have at his office. Everyone says Gardner is the best but I think I'm getting tired of waiting and might be looking for another Dr soon...sad.

My name is Brian Burton, My wife went to see DR Gardner 6/23. He stressed that my wife's back needed to be fixed. Calls were made by his staff to get an MRI the next day so we could move this along quickly. We were told by Dr Gardner to call as soon as the MRI was done. It was done on 6/24, I delivered the films my self. The MRI Dr sent over their finding the same week. We followed up for the rest of the week. We were told every time that he was reviewing the results and that a "note" would be passed along. Today 7/1 we were told the same thing until my wife got upset and raised her voice. They then broke down and told her that Dr Gardner wouldnt even be back to their office until 7/14. Meanwhile my wife cant walk and has to lay on the floor just to get a tiny bit of relief. This is the worse service I have seen at a Dr office where people are in excruciating pain. Total BS!!!
