I was very nervous coming in as new patient, but the office has a very inviting atmosphere. The doctor was very professional and friendly, and her office staff was the same. I can actually say I look forward to coming back.

Staff is functionally helpful, but nothing special. Dr. Bowen-Wright, however, answered all of our questions and did not act patronizing. She explained everything without being alarmist, but was very thorough. I recommend her highly.

If waiting is for you, this is a great doctor. 45-60 minutes late all the time.

I have seen Dr. Bowen-Wright for almost a year now but called today to cancel my future appointment and will not see her again. I have a fairly easy case- typical hashimotos- and never needed to ask many questions, just needed a script. However, a complication came up and I needed her professional opinion. In my opinion, she is either incompetent or dense, or deaf. I wouldn't accept my questions being brushed off with "We sometimes do see that." I wanted to know if she had personally ever seen that complication. She would not answer. I asked her why she thought the complication arose and she had no response. She seemed exasperated that I was asking questions, walked out of the exam room, came back and handed me a paper about my condition. This is why my insurance pays her office $300? I do have internet. I was dissappointed that she was not helpful the one time I didn't come in, hear my bloodwork results and walk out. They just lost one of their easiest patients.

Annapolis Endocrinology should be recognized as an unprofessional and uncaring practice. My first appointment Dr. Hazel Brown was 2 1/2 hours late. She was impersonal and failed to give me any diagnosis on the symptoms I was experiencing. She made me get my blood work done and stated she would call me in a few days with the results. I received no phone call back after numerous attempts. I had to go to the emergency room a month later. Only the hospital were able to attain my blood work from them. I called a week before my followup appt to cancel it and the morning of the appt. They had the wrong number for me after I had left numerous messages with my number. The following day I received a letter saying that I had made several appointments and cancelled. It stated that if it happened again, I wouldn't be able to be a patient there again. What kind of business does not care for their patients does not have people call you back, and makes you wait for hours. Please be weary!

i went to this doctor who according to my insurance is also a primary care physician which she denies. i have a hx of htn, diabetes and thyroid disorder and when i went for my appt. she refused to give me blood pressure medicine (i had an allergic reaction on my previous med) she stated she would not give it to me without labs. i advised her i would go get the labs and she stated i would have to get the blood pressure meds from my pcp and again i showed her that she is my pcp. i ended up in the er 2 weeks later with a blood pressure of 230/118 and almost had a stroke. i felt i underwent unnecessary pain and testing due to her callousness or lack of knowledge. when i went back for a follow up she still vehemently refused to treat my htn. it's awfully funny that when you do a search about what endocrinologists treat it states that hypertension is one of the symptoms that are supposed to be treated. i then received a letter from her firing me as a patient. what kind of health care is this

To say she was rude and unhelpful would be a compliment. Not only is she uninterested in her patients her office staff is rude and unprofessional.
