I consider it a privilege to have this outstanding yet personable surgeon perform my thyroidectomy mid-March. The first appointment with his team was very thorough and informative. The lead time to the surgery was three months and I decided to get another opinion. Fortunately for me I decided to wait as my experience could not have been exceeded in any other setting. Imagine my surprise when Dr Bimston appeared in the Pre-op area to mark the area to give a Senior Citizen the best cut. Who does that ? A caring surgeon of course. Dr. Bimston and his entire staff were amazing. My daughter just 19 needed her thyroid removed. He was kind. He explained everything to us and made us feel confident that he was the right dr. After the surgery he called at least twice a day to go over bloodwork results and make changes to her medication/supplements. I could talk to his staff as often as I needed and they got back to me with answers quickly. Dr. Bimston is an amazing surgeon. A special surgeon. A special man. A blessing to my family. Thank you!

Dr. David Bimston is a superb surgeon both technically and in his relationship with patients. Through research I found out that he is a surgical oncologist by training. In December 2017 I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I went for three consultations with different surgeons; I really wanted to my homework and chose the right doctor. When I met with Dr. Bimston he reviewed my case and decided to do another US. I had no idea that there would be a team in the exam room. His partner Dr.Golding did my US, there was a Physician Assistant in the room and a student. I really felt like I was in good hands, I also love the idea of a teaching hospital at Memorial Healthcare System not one opinion on my case but several. Dr. Bimston explained the procedure in great detail, I was nervous about the operation, but I left that meeting with full confidence in him and therefore, I was no longer nervous. He performed surgery and found several other micro cancers as well. Once I regained consciousness, he spoke with me as well as my husband. He had chosen a place on my neck with a natural line so the scar from the incision would be disguised. As a whole I could not have received a better outcome, he is truly blessed at what he does and his knowledge base surpasses any other surgeon that I have met. I have to include an enormous thank you to the staff that guided me along the way that day in the hospital, from the time that I stepped through the door that morning until the time I left that night everyone was so incredibly nice, attentive to my needs and truly very kind. I felt like I had concierge care without the fee and having worked in healthcare for over 20 years I had never seen a staff that worked so well together and completely in sync. I am so glad that I found Dr. Bimston, he is clearly amazing at what he does and it is very apparent he loves his job, I cannot thank him enough for treating me in a very difficult time in my life and for saving it.

Dr Bimston is an awesome surgeon, and I could not have had a better, caring Dr to perform my thyroidectomy surgery. He is an amazing person who most definitely had a passion for his work in helping people. I am most grateful, also my family to Dr Bimston and his staff. He amazes me how he spends time and listen to myself and my daughter, and he patiently reviews my condition, and explains in detail. Though being a very busy Dr, he did not once appears to be rushing me, and my family. On the day of surgery, he explained the procedure, the complications that can occur and my family asks multiple questions and he was so composed and ready to communicate with everyone. His overall confidence and cool demeanor uplift my spirit at all times and he gives me hope. He creates such warm and welcoming environment, along with his Physician Assistant. He is very professional, kind and I am so happy I had him for my surgery. I will recommend him to anyone who needs his service.

My wife had a problem with her thyroid and in her family there is a history of thyroid problems.
She first visited Dr Golding the partner of Dr Bimston.

Between the two of them they told her she had Hoshimotos symptoms which has no cure.

Fast forward 6 months and Dr Aronson in Boca Raton said she had an enlarged thyroid so bad he wanted a specialist at University of Miami to perform the operation.

She was also placed on hormone replacement’s and her world became better.

Dr Leibowitz performed the operation and the thyroid was the size of a softball.

She now feels much better but if she had waited much longer her chest would have needed to be opened to remove the thyroid. All courtesy of Bimston and Golding

The staff were amazing. Very helpful and answered my calls promptly. Dr. Bimston acted like my husband was his only patient. very professional and kind. He actually gets on the phone if you need to talk to him or ask him a question. I am a Registered Nurse and deal with physicians daily. He is an awesome surgeon and a very special person. We are so happy we used him.

Just an amazing surgeon and individual. He performed three operations on me saving my life under the most adverse of conditions. His confidence gave me the spirit and lift to go on. And he cured me completely. He gave me my life back. Thank you Dr. Bimston.
