First visit was a severe autoimmune disease. Within a couple weeks or less of her treatment I was greatly improved, not better, but improved. With her knowledge and treatment I am improving continuously. She is extremely knowledgeable. I have never had to wait past my appointment plus the staff out front is very helpful and friendly. So glad I found her!

the staff is the textbook definition of incompetent. messages left repeatedly were not passed to dr. barry regarding urgent medical issues. the staff discusses and jokes about patients. i can only hope this level of care is provided to each of them in their darkest times. billing manager is truly a trump supporter.

Does not take the time to address questions and concerns. In fact, I was treated with an attitude of unprofessionalism from staff and doctor when I said that I wanted to speak to her about the results of a biopsy. Received different information on appropriate follow-up visits and suture protocol from doctor, staff, and nurse. Waiting time to book an appointment as a new patient was more than three months and had to call back multiple times before a time could be scheduled. I think I'll be booking my first check-up with another doctor.

I had a horrible experience with the staff of this place, as it related to billing and accurately relaying information. Dr. Barry performed both a small surgery (carving out a piece of skin for a biopsy) and two liquid nitrogen treatments on an HPV wart. However, after the first treatment did not kill the wart, instead of trying alternative treatment, she wanted to try the liquid nitrogen again. I was fine with this, but specifically asked the staff if the amount of out-of-pocket cost would be the same for a follow-up treatment, and they said it would be cheaper ($115 vs. $200). However, upon payment they charged me the same full-price and did not accept responsibility for whoever on their staff quoted me at $115. This battle dragged on for months between myself, their billing agency and their office staff. I paid them $115 and refused to pay anymore, eventually they gave up but never admitted fault. I will never go back here and deal with them again because someone on their staff lied

Doctor Barry is an excellent doctor but why she stays with the practice I don't know. The office staff is rude. I have sent many patients to her but since I haven't seen her in maybe 5 yrs I'm considered a new patient and have to wait 3 months to see her. They try to push Dr. Nims on everybody I've talked to that this has happened to. Dr. Nims is not a likeable doctor. I wish Dr. Barry would wise up and leave that practice.

I called today, August 21, to make an appointment with Dr. Barry. I said I was a new patient. Was told to call back Firday after 2:00 and scheduling would be the week of Oct. 14. I will not call back. Why is it the person I spoke to make the appointment today for the week of Oct. 14. Poor customer service.

Dr. Barry is a very knowledgable doctor with excellant bedside manners. This was the second dermatologist I met for an adult acne problem. She patiently listened to my past pattern of breakout (even though my face was clear when I visited her), looked at pics from my previous breakouts and asked questions about my medical history. It was clear that she systematically tried to diagnose the root cause, talked about treatment options and provided valuable suggestions. She does not rush a consult and makes the patient feel confident of the diagnosis. I will highly recommend her!

Dr. Barry is a phenomenal doctor, extremely knowledgable! I had seen many doctors and dermotologists over the past ten years for symptoms that could not be explained with test after test leading to deadend diagnoses. At my first appointment with her, when other doctors had quickly written prescriptions for topical creams without even looking at my condition and seemed more interested in pushing their plastic surgery business, Dr. Barry carefully listened, tackled my medical problem systematically. and decided to take a skin biopsy --something no other doctor had suggested! In the end she quickly discovered I had an extremely rare form of lupus called Tumid Lupus which does not show up in bloodwork!! And although I only see her 2-3 times a year now, she remembers details about my case very well which makes me feel safe as one of her patients! She is a doctor you can trust! I would recommend her to anyone!!
