I see Dr. Ashford for hormone replacement. His skill in managing this is hard to match. Lab work is done regularly and dosing adjusted accordingly. His staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He has a rare combination of urology and obgyn experience.

I found Dr. Ashford and MN Women's Clinic out of necessity. I was experiencing horrible menopause symptoms and couldn't find relief anywhere. My regular doctor told me "Well, that's just the way it goes. Could last up to 10 years..." and when I told her I wasn't sleeping more than a couple hours per night she gave me an RX for Ambien with a strict warning of addiction. I couldn't imagine that the next 10 years of my life would be like this - no sleep, no libido, weight gain, night sweats/hot flashes. Dr. Ashford was the first doctor to tell me that I wasn't crazy - my levels were way too low for a woman my age (44). I nearly cried with relief that someone could actually do something for me! I had my first SottoPelle injection on this date - and about 5 days later I started feeling better, sleeping, hot flashes stopped...and within 10 days all my other symptoms ceased as well. I've since been back to MN Women's care and have seen other providers in his office for subsequent injections, and I have had great experiences with all o fhtem. I refer all my friends to him and this office as well. I feel like I've lived a miracle!

This was my first appointment after switching clinics. I was impressed with the staff, including thoroughness of my appointment and the facility and all it had to offer. I am glad I made the switch

Mn women's is such great clinic and offers the best and latest in technology. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating and the massage chair is the cherry on top. Torrie is great and always spends time answering all my questions and concerns. A big improvement from the clinic I've been going to for the last 10 years. My only recommendations are longer hours and that'll solve the issue of scheduling.

Have not been coming here long but everyone is super friendly and very helpful! The only time I did see the doctor I had to wait a half hour past my scheduled time - however it was worth the wait as he was extremely knowledgable as to my concerns and issues.

Biography

Our lives are so different than they were 50 years ago, yet much of the healthcare that’s provided to women hasn’t changed a bit. I don’t agree with that old-fashioned approach. I am committed to providing answers and solutions for the conditions women are facing right now – today – not yesterday. A half-century ago, when our mothers and grandmothers faced medical problems, they were often told to “just live with it.” That's not right. I never expect any of my patients to “just live with” issues that are impacting their lives. I am determined to provide a solution. My education didn't stop with my residency and advanced training. I’ve traveled and continue to travel all over the world to learn from the best-of-the-best so that when my patients are suffering with a condition that impacts their lifestyle or standard of living, I have an answer and solution. I've always had a strong drive to push the boundaries further. This likely stems from my upbringing in Detroit and has served my patients well. I strive to have a positive impact on every patient that I see. Of course I know that I won’t be able to fix everything (only God can), but I will never stop trying!"
