I liked the fact that Dr. Hajjar was able to treat my L-1 fx conservatively and after 2 months he released me from his care. All the staff at the Meridian office was polite and friendly. Now I just have to heal from 2 fx calcaneous.

His front office/phone staff is very condescending. Apparently, they have missed the fact that patients are now savvy consumers and expect to be treated with care and compassion. He might be a skilled craftsman, but I choose my providers based on how well I'm treated, not just clinically, but holistically. If that kind of condescension is what's tolerated by the medical staff, I've got a pretty good idea how I'd be treated as a patient. And, after reading the other reviews about him having God Complex (which is apparently ubiquitous in neuro), I went elsewhere for my care.

He cares more about his wallet then he does about his patients. I personally would never, ever, ever recommend this person. So sad to find out that these former comments are absolutely true! Hypocratic Oath?

My husband had a Discectomy for a herniated disc. Dr. Hajjar was very straightforward in what needed to be done and how he was going to help him. His surgery and what to expect was exactly what Dr Hajjar explained to us. What was very impressive to us was how Dr Hajjar did all the follow up himself, He does not use a PA or NP to do any of the after care. That is a very rare occurance in today's medical practice.

I made an appointment for my son who has cerebral palsy and is deaf. The appointment was made and then I asked for an interpreter. All of a sudden he decided he couldn’t help my son and suggested I needed to take him to Salt Lake City, Utah! He cares more about his wallet then he does about his patients. I personally would never, ever, ever recommend this person.

Had ACDF on c7/t1. Herniated disk. Surgery good. But be sure to not take too many opioid pain pills and get a weaning schedule from the doc. I relied on pain meds too long, tapered down dosage to 1/2 Norco per 4 hours, six weeks after surgery. Then stopped. Had withdrawals for over a week, couldn’t sleep, shaking. Ugh. And be sure to do physical therapy after surgery. Your muscles get really whacked out from guarding against pain. In fact, that pain was probably worse than the surgery pain.

Excellent surgeon. Very smart and my surgery was successful. Staff is rude and unprofessional, but Dr Hajjar is excellent and was able to help me be pain free again.
