HORRIBLE DOCTOR - avoid at all costs - worst bedside manner

He told me my port wasn't infected, and it was and could have killed me cuz I have cancer. He had the wrong file for my husband, and it took an hour for my husband to figure it put. He didn't. He also fights with his staff in front of patients, which is totally unprofessional. He ignores doctor patient confidentiality. The pharmacy I use sent a refill request for the wrong medication for me, and he reported me for substance abuse, without calling me or asking if I requested the medicine, or what I need it for. I rally believe he got his degree from a gumball maching!

The BEST family doctor we ever have!! My husband and I have been seeing Dr.V for the past 11 years or so. Very great, compassionate and caring-- goes an extra mile with a follow-up etc. More power to you, Dr. V!

My doctor and children's doctor for 22 years, very knowledgeable and always right with the diagnostic and the medicine .

Usualy only people with bad things to say go out of their way to post on boards like these. Dr. Venturina has been my primary care physician for almost ten years. He is without question the finest Doctor I've ever had. Thoughtful, caring, funny and very, very helpful with a number of ailments I've sufferd through over the years. A true Prince of a man. Maybe it's because I used to bring the office staff coffee drinks whenever I went in but they were always nice and efficient. I Googled the Doctor to make sure I had his address right and found the negative comment by chance. One guy having a bad day or experience who posts on a message board and slurries the name of a very good Doctor, I just couldn't ignore. If I had any children I trust him with their lives. He is the best.

DO NOT go near this doctor! when the blood pressure levels were lowered by the powers that be, I went to him and asked him about lowering mine and he joked "well how low do you want them?"; didn't lower them and I developed kidney disease. during an unexplained illness, labwork came back showing kidney failure and serious liver problems but I was never called about them! I'm not sure he ever looked at them. I only found out from my next doctor. When I needed a follow-up with a neurologist, I asked the office manager (his wife) to make it with the same doctor I started with, "a doctor Fong or Wong". She found a chinese doctor and scheduled me an appointment with a SURGEON, because the name sounded right, even though i was supposed to see a neuorologist. need I say more?
