I had two excellent experiences with Dr. Auld and his staff. He was professional, articulate and thorough. I saw none of the condescension or ineffectual procedures the other reviews refer to. I received my colonoscopy results immediately, and when I neglected to get a lab the doctor requested, he sent me a personal message reminding me to do so.

Was a patient of Dr. Auld's for over 10 years; 8 procedures. Staff has gotten very poor. Did not receive prep instructions for colonoscopy, was told wrong time to arrive for procedure (twice!), was told in correct information for insurance coverage, office did not call me with my biopsy results and it took 9 days for Dr. Auld to even read the results. Most importantly, I was NOT SEDATED ENOUGH FOR THE COLONOSCOPY AND FELT EVERYTHING - to the point where I was able to verbalize to Dr. Auld please stop, I was in very much in PAIN. I urge you to look elsewhere; the arrogance has gone to his head and his staff is poor at communication, unprofessional and cannot be trusted with information or to call you back - overall rude and condescending on the phone as well. Very disappointing to comment that over a decade as a patient at this practice, I can confidently confirm it has gone down hill badly.

Dr. Auld is very knowledgeable and professional. He promptly responded to my health complaints and prescribed treatment that really worked. His medical assistant was very helpful.

Ok, all the things the previous person said are true. But, listen, he is rated in the top 100 physicians of the ENTIRE BAY AREA,and finally diagnosed a very rare condition of mine that I had been suffering from. I am managing fine with my ongoing illness. Thanks to him I know what it is. He is arragant, but he CAN be, because he's the best. I mean come on....I am not looking for Patch Adams!

Dr. Auld has first-rate credentials and affiliations. Unfortunately his manner and communications skills are badly lacking. Whether on the phone, or in person, his manner is consistently curt and condescending. He always gives the impression he is annoyed or angry and that you are wasting his valuable time. He also seems to feel that diagnosis is his primary, if not only, job and he leaves the patient with an uneasy feeling that there is nothing he can/will do to help manage conditions. This is the harshest set of comments I've ever offered about any physician. In Dr. Auld's case, it seems warranted.
