I think dr. Demarest what's the best doctor ever. He was my doctor for 17 years since my daughter was born. I love the way he treated my daughter myself and my mother. He was always professional always knowledgeable he was very very smart and very knowledgeable about different diseases and causes and how they should be treated. He was the best doctor I ever had. When I found out that he had to close I was actually in tears and cried about it because I didn't know how I was going to find another doctor that can measure up to his standards. I really loved him and I miss him dearly. He was one of those doctors that you were blessed to have and be blessed to found such a doctor that cares about your well-being personal life health and wellness and everything above. Love the way he dressed he wore the coolest socks and the coolest shoes all the time. What a great looking man. He never hurried you out of his office, in fact you would sit with you and talk about the medical problems you were having whether it took 5 minutes or an hour doesn't matter who is waiting in the waiting room he made you feel like you were the most important thing at that very time. We miss you doctor dumarest and love you. I don't even think I got to tell you that my mom died because you were closed before that. But Katelynn and I are doing well living in Southern Illinois and bought our own house.. the doctors down here do not measure up to my standards that you have upheld all these years. He was excellent as a dr. But his staff should be fired and his wife has no business in his office. He always took my checks with no problems until his second wife started running his practice. Wonder why no checks. Maybe to hide money from someone. when was the last time she had to pay cash for a doctor? I had great insurance from a union so was not on public aid. My blood pressure would shoot up so high dealing with her. Dr Demorest would say what did she do now. Found myself a different great Dr

Went to see dr. Demorest this week called before i got there and was told i owe my. Copay of 125 GOT to dr. his wife takes my money gives me reciept and then ask me how am i. goi. Wng to pay for visit ok take it i owed. Them money i had no idea my uinsurance was expired wouldnt you. Think a patiene health. ueduywould come before a 125 dollars believe me dr. Demorest iz the best doctor i have ever seen but his staff wife and daughter have no clue or respect for patience that come here to be taken care off this is no way you should be treat

Good Doctor but the Staff he has working there Dumber than Dirt and if you need your medications refilled forget it. You think 4 phone calls to the office would do it but you have to page the Doctor before you will get it. They miss schedule you all the time and lie right to your face that you had it wrong. Good Doctor but a little stupid for have a staff that treat his patients like Captured Troops! RUDE NAZI Storm Troopers Staff! Beware of Junk Yard Dogs!!! Really not worth the visit if you consider how many Doctors there are that hire a professional staffs not these idiot!

Staff is extremely rude . they litterally guard him against talking to ant oatiet until after tou fave psid, they refuse to even ask him a question for you. I am not elligible for insurance at my job for another 3 months.. aNOTHER dOCTOR TAKING THE CASH AND RUNNING. mY LAST PRESCRIPTION HE FILLED OUT INCORRECTLY. NOW i HAVE TO WAIT UNYIL HIS STAFF CONTACTS THE PHARRMCY, AND HIS VOICE BOX IS FULL? WHAT IF IT WAS A EMERGENCY. 0 STARS FROM ME

GREAT DOCTOR. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, EXCELENT BED MANERS. HE SAVED ME FROM LOSS OF A LEG AND MANY OTHER SERIOUS CONDITIONS IN THE PAST. GOT A HEALTH PROBLEM-HE LISTENS AND TREATS. I CAN RECOMMEND HIM WHOLE HEARTEDLY.

My issue is not with Dr. Demorest but his staff. I was refused to be seen because I didnt pay a $7 copay that was due. I wanted to pay by check because I was certain that I had paid the copay in cash my last visit however, they (his wife, Kelly) was unwilling to compromise and was extremely rude. Further, she made a comment to the staff asking if I was on Public Aid. Her and I exchanged words. I was more than willing to pay my bill however, she was not willing to work with me by allowing me to pay by check. My point to her was, your office does accept checks, if I had mailed you a check, you would have accepted the payment, so why aren't you willing to accept my check in person. This is a one time occurrence. Long story short, we exchanged words, some not so nice, and after she threatened to call the police, I just walked out. Its unfortunate for Dr. Demorest that she works in his office because she is running his patients away with her disrespect and rudeness.

Great doc, long wait in waiting room. Should be shorter since he doesn't take public aid anymore. Expect nasty comments from public aid patients that cant go see him anymore.
