I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. They tried to run my matters through their in-house surgical center so I would have to self pay $6,000 for elective surgery when my insurance would pay, albeit less to them. My medical records were wrong and incomplete in hopes of denying my insurance claim. I asked for my records and requested that they change them so they accurately reflected my information. This is apparently a not so uncommon bait and switch practice.

Dr. Ayoub and his office are terribly unprofessional and mismanaged. Sorry to see from these reviews, we were not the only ones. My wife’s delivery was borderline life threatening due terrible management and communication between the doctors, nurses, and staff. She has had numerous complications following a c section and was put under undue stress waiting for a natural delivery. She wasn’t seen by an actual doctor for 19 hours in a 21 hour delivery because the on-call doctor wouldn’t come in. No one could communicate why. In numerous follow up appointments, labs and tests, it would take days for his office to respond to repeated phone calls to find out the results of serious complications. On top of this, his bed side manner and overall communication and attitude is terrible. He might be a creditialed doctor, but ineffective and incompetent practitioner. My advice is find another doctor and practice entirely.

Recently had the pleasure to met Dr Ayoub and his wonderful staff. I was able to get an appointment almost immediately when I explained my situation. Dr Ayoub took the time to talk over all the options for my situation and answered all of my questions. I never felt rushed or under pressure to make a decision on what I wanted to do. He has a very calming demeanor and a great personality. If you are in need of an OBGYN I highly recommend this practice.

I am 46 yrs old and started seeing Dr A when I was 42. Me, my mother and grandmother (and now daughter) are plagued with heavy, painful periods from day 1 we get them. My previous GYN (of 12 years) simply had me on pain medications and blood flow control. Since moving to VA and seeing Dr A he has suggested nothing other than a hysterectomy. Why?! I know my history, my previous dr can speak to it yet he wants a full hysterectomy. My "red flags" went up several times as I felt he pushed for unnecessary procedures. He also did a D&C on me for heavy periods. It didn't do much. I would say get 2nd opinions on anything big and especially if your "red flag" goes up. On the other hand, Cynthia Stone is great! If you go there, ask for her.

Dr. Ayoub is an excellent surgeon, highly recommend....as an RN, my expectations were high...he not only met but exceeded all expectations.

Dr. Ayoub performed Robotic Myomectomy in December of 2015, the surgery was a success. I am so happy to have found him. Dr. Ayoub and his staff are amazing. Just one suggestion: Dr. Ayoub needs to work on being on time with his patients. Time is money!

Dr. Jack Ayoub is awesome staff is super nice very very helpful . But be ready to wait for 30 to 40 mins for a 15 mins appointment.
