My wife and I are so delighted by the care we received at Dr. Wilshire's office. Everyone was so supportive of us along our journey: Dr. Wilshire, the nurses performing procedures, and even the administrative staff. We had a fairly poor experience at our previous fertility clinic and were referred to Dr. Wilshire by a friend. We are now both pregnant at the same time thanks to him and his team! We have already begun recommending him to other friends.

I showed up 30 minutes early to make sure I had turned in all the paper work that was required. Which it had been and they took me back early! First he starts all appointments by having the nurse check you vitals and height weight exc... Then you watch a movie all about different fertility issues , concerns and treatment ( 10 mins long) I found it very informative and nice to know a little bit about Dr. wilshire prior to giving him my whole life story about my reproductive issues. Dr. Wilshire then came and got me and took me to his office. He was so friendly , laid back , but still professional. He went over all my past health history and went over my needs an concerns . He then talk me through the whole process and thing I could do to improve my health and ways to improve my fertility. ( yes that includes a healthy diet. I see many people getting offended if he calls you over weight, but that's not what he did at all , he just suggest the Paleolithic diet as its healthier for everyone anyway) it take no genius to know a healthy weight is better for baby. He even stated I don't care about the number of weight , just eating different . He went over even the fatty meats and fats I need to be eating instead of avoiding them like I was. Then after all of our talking which was amazing and I had already learned so much!!! Then we went to do the ultra sound , he explained to me everything he saw and pointed them out and explained every detail. It was a wonderful experience and a wonderful staff.

Dr. Wilshire performed a "routine" procedure on my wife. Sent her home, where after they assure d us that she was fine after the leg compression for blood clots. 2 days later and still in chest pain, she had two clots on her lungs. That scared the heck out of us as it can kill you. I called him and he seemed to just shrug it off like "stuff happens". He's lucky I didn't punch him in the face.

Dr. Wilshire and his staff were very knowledgable and kind. We did 2 Iui cycles and moved to IVF. I'm now 12 weeks pregnant with one baby. 2 embryos were transferred and one stuck around!!! I'm so thankful I went to Dr. Wilshire.

Dr. Wilshire and his staff were amazing. From the moment I called for information, to the day I took my sweet baby to visit Dr. Wilshire it was a great place to be. Our appointments were always on time, and they gave us costs up front. I had been to another doctor for years, and knew there was more to the story on why we could not conceive. Within a few minutes Dr. Wilshire knew what the problem was, he told us exactly what to do, we followed his instructions and four months after our first visit became pregnant. We couldn't be happier!

I went to see Dr. Wilshire on April 12, 2013. This being our first appointment with an RE, he took us in his office and spent over an hour going over our medical and personal history. He ordered multiple blood tests and the Inherigen test. All of the results were available and sent to me within 2 days as well as a nice phone call from the nurse. The staff are all very nice and accommodating. We drove over 3 hours to get to his office and were so impressed that we will continue to make the trip. For our future RE needs.

Dr. Whilshire performed 2 IUI procedures & after a miscarriage on the second attempt, he told us I was unable to conceive due to hormone levels. Obviously, I was devastated since we had been close to success on the second IUI attempt. I demanded he try a 3rd IUI but he told me it was a waste of our money. I'm glad I did not listen to Dr. Wilshire's "expertise" as we conceived on our 3rd IUI attempt that I demanded and now have a healthy baby! Dr. Wilshire lacks professionalism, knowledge, and sensitivity which is critical for this specialty. There are FAR better options in Columbia and St. Louis. Dr. Wilshire may be less expensive but it's not worth the savings. Trust me, GO ELSEWHERE...we will be in the future.

During our first few appointments with the doctor, he did nothing but harp about my wife being overweight and that her being overweight was a problem with our ability to conceive. Just so you know my wife has a few extra pounds but is not grossly obese. After spending thousands of dollars on the doctor and multiple invasive procedures, the doctor seemed to through his hands up in the air and brought us into his office to tell us that trying to have a child was never going to happen for us and that we should learn to cope with that fact. After switching doctors and one minor procedure later we are pregnant.
