Worst mistake of my life. He does the same nose on everyone. Scoops out bridge and a stubby tip with flared nostrils. Save yourself!

If you're seeking an expert at rhinoplasties and revision rhinoplasties, Dr. Funk is your guy! When I entered his office, I was bringing in a lot of trauma from two botched nasal surgeries after a horrible childhood fracture. Because this was my third surgery, I was terrified that it would leave me with more breathing and aesthetic issues. I am one week post op and I already could not be more thrilled with the results. My nose is no longer over-projected, pinched, or over-rotated. It's perfect! Dr Funk is an artist! I wish I had gone to Dr Funk back then, it would have saved me a lot of money, childhood teasing, and pain. I will not name names, but the two botched surgeries were from Houston-area docs so please do research! And aside from him being an excellent surgeon, he is so compassionate and sweet. I am so excited!!! I just want to cry, I am so happy!

Worst Mistake was going to see dr. funk. My nose I embarrassing and would muh prefer to have my old nose back. Please do yourself a favor a see another doctor. Don't fall for his BS.

I had skin cancer removed from the fleshy portion of my nose, near the cheek. The crater was over dime size and down to the fat cells. Dr Funk cut about 1 1/2 inches below my eye, along the lines of my nose, down to just above my lip. He brought the entire cheek over to cover the hole...essentially, a reverse face lift. It's been 4 months now. You can't see what happened at all. The 2" cut below my eye had stitches so small; there is no evidence of the cut. The other cuts can't be seen either.

Next time, hopefully, I will catch my skin cancer sooner and have Mohs surgery, not needing the services of Dr Funk. But if I do need facial surgery, I will absolutely go back to him.

By the way, the surgery with Dr Funk was maybe 2 hours from start to finish. It was completed at a day surgery facility. Dr Funk also took my insurance.

I am fully confident in Dr Funk's ability.

I had a botched nose job from a prior doctor when I was 18. At 23 I couldn't stand the bad results anymore and did alot of research to find a doctor who could revise the previous surgery. I was suggest by another surgeon to Dr. Funk and honestly thank GOD I was. Dr. Funk has given me the prettiest little nose and I get compliments on it all of the time!! He really turned my life around and I would highly suggest him to anyone looking to get work done on their nose. SO happy I did. 2 years later, love to look at my side profile!!!!

Nice doctor but not sure he knows what he's doing. Performed a procedure that is now costing me $$ to fix. Once there was a problem, he is nowhere to be found. Doctors should stick with what they know

Quick to see him. He spent time evaluating and explaining my plastic surgery requests. Capable and concerned. He is double-Boarded in Plastic Surgery and ENT. His prices are on-par with other Plastic Surgeons in Houston. I will refer other people to him.

I went to see Dr. Funk for a functional problem that I have had nearly all my life. At first I was reluctant on whether or not he was going to insist on surgery but he didn't. He showed me the root of my problem on his screen and was so knowledgeable on my whole issue. He talked to me like a person and broke the terminology down in words that any regular person could understand. I would say this doctor was the first person to spend this much one on one time in over a decade of appointments I have had anywhere else. My issue has gotten 100% better and NO HE DID NOT PUSH SURGERY he felt that it could be treated another way and he was right. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends, family and even strangers. THIS GUY ACTUALLY CARES!!

Very impressed with the results Dr. Funk gave me. He injected my lips with Restylane and not only was it was pain-free, the result is very natural - exactly what I asked for. I also had a bit of filler added to the under-eye area and the result is amazing - I have the eyes I used to have in my 20s. His prices are very reasonable and appropriate for Houston. I think it is is best to trust these sensitive areas to be injected (under eyes, lips, etc) to a surgeon who routinely gets great aesthetic results. Two thumbs up!
