I have the utmost respect for Dr. Hawkins and his surgical abilities. He had a clear sense of understanding for my athletic injury and helped me through the entire process to recovery.

Orthopaedic Associates of Allentown, PA is useless. No communication inside their office. My Problem was routine but since it was a motorcycle accident and a lawyer was involved he would not touch me. Only in it for the money and could care less about the person. You are only a case number to them. Their competition, Coordinated Health of Bethlehem, PA, was happy to fix me up and perfection to deal with. Dr. Luchetti fixed my shoulder with the utmost respect and professionalism!

Very pleasant and kind doctor who was easy to talk to. Did not have a follow up appointment with him but was to call his office to let him know how I made out. Trying to get through was a nightmare. On hold for a length of time. Somebody takes your info. and then you wait for a callback. When I didn't get a call back in several days as I was told I had to call again. Instead of hearing back from the doctor someone else calls and you get the info. from then. Would have like to have spoken with the doctor directly or had another appointment as I still have other questions.

He is a very understanding, and has good bedside manner . Unfortunately his staff in Allentown are very rude and contradict what the doctor tells the patient.

This surgeon is fantastic! He is very personable while being very efficient with his time. He is published and a specialist in sports medicine orthopedics. He advised me on a partial patellar tendon in the past and recommended therapy - I recovered as expected. Recently I tore my shoulder apart (rotator cuff, etc) while slipping on the ice. He advised me of the risks and potential benefits of surgery. I opted for surgery. It is, at the time of this writing, two weeks post surgery and the results are phenomenal! I still have four weeks in a sling and much PT ahead, but I already have NO pain and feel that I will be back to 100% within months. I recommend him with no reservations.
