I don't know if it's him or the office but I had to ask for my results from my Pap Smear. To me, it seems like common sense that if something abnormal comes up on a pap smear - you tell the patient. That wasn't the case though, 3 months later (when my condition that I didn't know of worsened) I had to ask for the results and was given the excuse "Oh, someone should've called you about that"....they didn't. When I scheduled another appointment (to give them another chance to make it right), he rushed my cryotherapy appointment (didn't even freeze off what he was supposed to), used his "scare tactics" and brushed off any of my questions or concerns. But his assistant/nurse Jennifer is one of the sweetest ladies and answered more questions and addressed my concerns more than he ever has. I'm running out of chances for him.

I have been a patient for over ten years. However have tried for the last five years to schedule appointments that are three to four months in advance. Only to receive a call the Friday before or a week before to advise once again it must be cancelled or rescheduled. Do to not being able to keep a scheduled appointment I must now restablish myself as his patient. After today's last call I will be leaving for good.

A provider that no longer delivers babies and only sees patients for medical problems and surgeries I would think would be able to schedule more effectively.

Dr. Bagnasco insisted that my son would be on the "small side of normal" based on the anatomy ultrasound at 20 weeks, and tape measure only after that. When I expressed concern as this was my first child and we birth giants in my family, he dismissed it and told me my son would be 7 lbs at most, and there was no need to discuss the possibility of a c section. BASED ON A TAPE MEASURE AROUND MY ABDOMEN. His office lost the pre-delivery strep test, resulting in (unnecessary) prophylactic antibiotics at delivery. My son ended up weighing 9 lbs 8 oz at birth, and was delivered vaginally. I tore so badly during delivery that I could not hold my son for almost an hour after he was born while they stitched me up, and I had to stay extra nights in the hospital and have a catheter. If you would like to keep your urethra intact at delivery, go with a doctor who will at least investigate your concerns before dismissing them altogether.

Here is the huge list: Disrespectful. Scare tactics used. He is a bully. Disregard for patient rights, refused to call my actual caregiver when on call and my caregiver was not. Completely egotistical. Needs a good reminder that labor and delivery is not about him and it's also not just another "procedure in his 20 years of work"!

He scheduled a C-Section just because it would be convenient to him and that he was not comfortable delivering a baby since he didn't know how much baby would weigh due to Type A gestational diabetes (controlled by diet). Used scare tactics of breaking shoulders and baby would come out deformed etc... Went to my doctor in my home town, he delivered my 8.7lb healthy baby, induced and I was in labor 2 minutes literally 2 minutes. I tried telling this doctor since it was my second baby that I knew I could deliver with out having surgery. Regardless I would NEVER go back to this office, he doesn't listen and doesn't remember his patients from week to week ... HE SHOULD NOT BE A DOCTOR!

I was scheduled for surgery and had my preop appointment scheduled for a friday he cancelled and said he was going on vacation. He rescheduled my appointment the day before my surgery. When I went to his office he had not done my biopsy required or even had a clue my surgery was scheduled for the next day. I had already been to his office another date Daphnie said I needed to be and paid for nothign because he did not need to see me. He was very confused and not a lot of confidence in him or this daphnie he placed all the blame on for not taking care of what he needed to take care of before my surgery. I will find a more competent dr in waco he has to many patients and I used him for 3 years I should have known better than to trust him other issues as well. I paid once to see him and undressed and he said he did not need to see me it was a mistake. I then returned 20 days later to find he never ordered the presurgery biopsy. Rude arrogant and incompetent.

Dr. Bagnasco has been my OBGYN for 10 years and has delivered both of my children and I wouldn't change physicians for anything. One time, when I was pregnant and had an appointment, I did have to wait a long time in the examination room, but when he came in he promptly apolgized and explained it was because he was with another mother whose tests came back indicating her baby would have complications and he could not bring himself to leave a distraught patient. I totally understood. He shared that having to break news like that was the hardest part of his job and it had clearly affected him. Then he took a deep breath and composed himself and said, "How is YOUR baby?" and gave me his undivided attention for the rest of my visit. I can't imagine how stressful his job must be and he is a compassionate and dedicated physican. He correctly diagnosed my PPP when my family doctor did not. I feel very lucky to have found such a good OBGYN.
