Dr. Ramos was my outpatient physician at Hillside-LIJ in 1975-6. He was excellent and we had a very respectful relationship. I was beginning to be a stained glass artist, and as a semi pro photographer, he photographed my projects and made prints for me. I just checked his name out of curiosity as to how he is today, what he has done since the days at LIJ. such good feelings and still respect for his sincerity and his human qualities. I am just finding out about Dr. Ramos' passing. Knew him from LIJ Hillside in Queens, NY. He was the most intellegent, kindest person. He truly, truly cared and was totally committed to his patients and work. You never left his office without confidence, hope and a smile. I loved him as a person and consider him an angel on my shoulder. I ddon't know if anyone will see this at this time, 7years later, but if you do my condolences and prayers and to those whose writings I have read, you are so right on.

Dr. Ramos was more than a doctor of psychiatry, he was an Angel in disguise. I miss him with all my heart. He was, and always will be my inspiration in life. When there was darkness, he gave me light, When there was emptiness, he filled me with hope. You are the most intelligent man I ever met, and your compassion went beyond your oath of duty. I will always remember you Dr. Ramos. You remind me of someone, someone so glorious. Just as him, you cared and you healed. Just as him, you wiped tears away, and created a smile. Although as "him", he laid his hands to heal, you used your heart. God Bless you Dr. Ramos. You are now more than a doctor in my eyes, you are a Saint. I send you my prayers and Love. Randall Patrie
