Dr Khoury is an EXCELLENT NUEROSURGEON. To me the bast in Charleston! I've had 2 back surgeries completed by his team and I feel so much better than I used to! He did a kyphoplasty on my L3 and a double spinal fusion on my S1- L5- L4.
He is kind and compassionate. He takes the time to both see and hear you. Also, to make sure you understand what is going on in your body.

Dr Khoury operated on the brain stem I had tumor and a cyst back in 1996 , healing took some time but so Thank full every thing went well, I’m still here Thanks to God and Dr Khoury

Has operated on my lumbar spine 3 times, two of them fusions. My back is lot worse since he operated the last time. He is arrogant and hard to talk to. Will never let him touch me again!

It's been 8 weeks since my surgery. The pain is worse now than before the surgery. When I called for a follow up appointment, the next available appointment with the doctor is in 5 weeks. Enough said.

This doctor will not take new patients that have pre existing conditions! You can not even get an appointment. Unless/until he has all previous medical records and then he will review them to see if he wants you as a patient! He may or may not be a good doctor but if he gets to choose the patients with the best or easiest surgeries it sure does guarantee he has a high success rate! To take 2 weeks or longer to review previous records, 2 weeks or longer on top of that to get an appointment, he could do real damage to a patient that needs immediate care! Most people with a serious issue can't wait 2 or more weeks for a doctor to decide if they will even take you as a patient and if he does not, trying to find another doctor 2 or more weeks later. Most doctors will examine you and review your records BEFORE determining they do or don't want you as a patient.

I had been told by four physicians that my spinal stenosis was incurable. Dr. Khoury took one look at my scans and said "I can fix that, lets do it next week." He did the procedure at St. Francis and every thing went well. Since then I have been totally pain free after nearly ten years of debilitating pain. Thanks Dr. Khoury!

Dr. Khoury did an operation on me about two months ago. I can't believe how much better I feel already. He is a kind man and really shows a lot of concern for his patients. Everything with my appointments went well and his staff was very friendly. I was also very happy with the hospital where he did my procedure (St. Francis). It was really nice.
