Always very late for appointment, has no concept of involving patient in their health care decisions . Very arrogant and grandiose. Performed test without informed consent, never even told me he performed it. I found out when I received teh results and bill from health insurance. Told me he had no time to answer my questions; I would have to make an appointment for a consultation--questions related to annual exam. His office lost my patient record. Changed decisions with no explanation. I would never ever recommend this practice.

I recommend Dr. Jacobs to everyone I know! He delivered my beautiful daughter (2nd C-section) and I could not have asked for a more caring doctor. He is blessed with a true gift that is shown in how he cares for his patients and how his practice is run. In today's society this is a rare find and he should be commended for putting his patients first!

I met Dr. Jacobs over 30 years ago when he was beginning his practice. From the very beginning, he has been a supportive, patient, and professional care-giver. He delivered my three children and throughout my pregnancies and deliveries I always knew that he had our very best interests at heart. Although he and I did not always agree on a course of action (just once), he always treated me with respect and left the final decision up to me, while giving me the best care possible. I am a healthy woman today in large part due to his expertise. Dr. Jacobs is always a passionate, caring physician. A nurse in the hospital once told me that he is demanding only when it comes to providing the very best care for his patients. It makes me sad to read the negative comments that others have posted, since I know it does not reflect the view of the majority of his patients. I have referred many people to his practice, including my own daughters, who are still his patients today. We love you Dr. J!

Dr. Jacobs seems to be very quick in his appointments, having one foot out the door before the appointment event begins, which made us very uncomfortable. The staff are nice and the wait is never long, but the quick dismissal left something to be desired.

Dr J has been my doctor for 26 years. He delivered my daughter in 1983. He always has a great bedside mannor with me. He has delivered thousands of babies. I bet there are a lot more satisfied patients then not.

quality of service has continued to decline over the last few years. there is a very noticeable attitude among office and medical professionals towards patients.

Bedside manner is awful. After delivery and almost losing my child told me he would not release my baby until he was paid in full. A year later diagnosed with cancer and had someone elses records in my file. I am not sure if I ever had cancer at all for sure but I know I never had anymore children after a less evasive surgery to rid me of my cancer instead of a full hysterectomy so that I would still be able to reproduce. Complications after surgery and never had another child no matter how hard I tried.

He has the worst bedside manner I have ever seen. I wanted to avoid an epidural and go drug-free and talked to him about this prior to my due date. He immediately pounced on my husband and I saying "in this day and age, there is no reason a woman should go without an epidural." He also went on to tell us that babies born with epidurals are better off than babies born drug-free, which is ridiculous. Needless to say, he was very unsupportive throughout my labor and at one point yelled at my husband over me as I was going through a contraction. He didn't even realize my baby was in the wrong position which resulted in complications later in delivery. There are many other complaints we have towards this doctor but I don't have enough room to type them all up!! I would love to provide you with greater details if i could! I would not advise my worst enemy to see this man.
