I have been under Dr.Eva's care for over 10 years. She makes a solid diagnosis and will refer her patients to others if her concerns fall outside the scope of her specialty- dermatology. She is highly educated, experienced and skillful in making critical assessments. She's serious and easy to look at and speak with. In 2004 I went to see her about some skin pigmentation issues. She treated me but also following her assessment advised that I see an opthlamologist after noticing some difference in my eyes. I did and as it turned out I had a malignant cancer to which I was treated and am now healthfully surviving. At the time when I saw her I was healthy with no symptoms and under my doctor's care. This is important to me as most times doctors don't go beyond their discipline to advise their patients of any concerns. Her staff there is friendly, helpful and commpetent. Scheduling, no problem. As long as she'll have me I will be a patient of hers. A good practice. They are the best.

Dr simmons obrien decides what SHE wants to see you for. I had cosmetic laser with her which has been a breeze. However she refers Me out for everything else. I have had three non cancerous spots I wanted her to remove and it took me eight visits to get two of them removed because she said oh no or just said we don't have time. She also told me I wouldn't like the scar. I had to beg her and make numerous appointments to get what I wanted. The the office staff= stupid ignorant idiots.

I saw Dr. Simmons-O'Brien for years, both for annual mole check ups and cosmetic treatments. Over time, I came to the feeling that her practice has evolved into one that caters to a very well heeled clientele that can pay her office's very high fees for services. She is very overbooked, wait times can be hours over the appointment time, and appointments can be very hard to get, especially for the medical (as opposed to the presumably better paying) cosmetic procedures. I ended up feeling a not-valued patient (plus it got too expensive for me to keep up with the cosmetic procedures on a regular basis) and have a new practice that is less "chic" but appears to be as knowledgeable and is more responsive.

I went to this doctor 2x. Her staff is the WORST. I complained, but nothing as done. One I was 5 minutes late and they told me that would see if I could still get in. I waited over an hour for the front desk lady to say "oh, its too late". I have something going on with my scalp. And, I will give the doctor propos for calling me back. However, she said I had everything in the book and recommended meds. Whereas I want to knnow the cause. She's nice but not worth the expense (will not take insurance), wait and te rude staff. They should all be fired!

Been a patient since 2006 but only saw her twice. She is way overbooked, have to be seen by nurses or PA's. One of her PA's was very rude, almost terminated my relationship based on her rudeness. Have been seeing Brenda Snyder and am happy with her, will probably never see Dr Simmons again since she does not make herself available outside of the once a year skin analysis.

She is a JHH Prof who is very bright and knowledgeeable. I was treated for dermatitis and then referred by herto MOHS surgeon to have cancer removed from my nose. Office would not see me back for post-op visit or for further tx for dermatitis. I had mentioned to her that I would like to stay with her forever since I was concerned when I read that Photo and Drug Tx(Psorolean) could result in Melanoma. I had this therapy but had no risk like this ever explained-nor did I sign inform. consent. I can only imagine that this is why she had her attorney write me a letter saying I was no longer welcome as a patient. No one would talk to me or tell me why. I did not imply I would sue her only wanted the best follow-up care for cancer screening. All of my bills were paid, best insurance. I consider myself a model patient so this still hurts me. So proceed with caution-good skill is not allways the best.
