She is right to the point and I like that about a dr. I went to her due to an abnormal pap and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was very personable and easy to talk to even when it was the ugly truth.

I am not surprised by the bad reviews about Joy. She is straight to the point and can be hard to take BUT her intensions are not bad. She is just telling you how it is as she sees it. She wants the best for you. She sits patiently and listens to every care and concern. She'll add you into her calendar even just to talk. You can personally call/text her. What doctor does that? She was there for both of my children's births. She is a great doctor. If you want a doctor who will tell you the good, the bad and the ugly, this is your girl. Texas is very lucky to have her and Tennessee has suffered a GREAT LOSS. I now have to find a new doctor in Tennessee and no one can replace her.

She is absolutely RUDE, VULGAR, & very very UNPROFESSIONAL. My husband & I were transferred to her because our main Dr. had to go out of the country around the time our baby was expected. We seen her 2 times & the first visit I couldnt decide if I liked her cuz shes very unprofessional with what she says. I was 38 wks & not dialated any & she wanted me to be induced & to pick a scheduled time between the 1st & the 8th. We picked the 1st & at the time Dr. Anderson thought that was a great idea. She was informing me that there was a risk of a csection & that was fine with us. She was talking about how it saves the vagina that way men will still like me. So she was all for csections that visit. One week later we came back & shes telling us how awful & dangerous they are & she literally looked at me & told me i was too young to make the descision. if i wanted a csection that she was NOT going to give me one. I am 21. She said things like csections make it where i wont be able to have any

She was very rude! She comes in the room with an attitude an gave me some real bad news and expected me to have an abortion when I am 16 weeks 6days along in my pregnancy all because of the bad news she had just told me and she wanted an answer right then and there. I told her it was to much and I needed a min and she told me if I did that she wasn going to be my dr. I walked out no woman should be treated like that when she just gets horible news about their health. And this is a short version of what all was said. I am also on subutex and she was very rude said many unprofessional things to me and my mother and boyfriend that was their with me. So if u are on subutex don't go to this rude woman. Please take my advise I left her office crying and so upset I had a migrian the rest of the day and threw up several times after I left. Dr Anderson is rude hurtful and nonprofessional To tell me to abort at 4months mainly cause I take subutex I give her a negitive 5 for everything! Very mean

Dr. Anderson is amazing! She is so personable and knowledgable. She takes the time to answer all my questions and never makes me feel rushed to leave. She genuinely cares about her patients and I think a doctor like that is hard to find.

Dr.Anderson has been the answer to my prayers for a bright, personable, super-competent gyn! She answers all my questions (or finds the answer and emails me), and she takes the time to address all my concerns. Her advice takes into account the most recent medical information, her best professional judgment, a heaping dose of common sense, and my viewpoints. I finally feel as though I have a doctor who is on my side, and we are working as a team towards the goal of keeping me healthy and happy (I'm a cancer survivor). She is gentle when doing uncomfortable procedures, and always respectful. Plus, she's just a super person to talk with.

She was absolutely wonderful for my son's delivery. I never expected a Dr. to be like that. I would recommend her to any woman!
