Doctor Fee delivered my first baby, Titus, at St. Joseph Hospital on 7/25/11. Though it was an overall good experience, my recovery time was longer than necessary because of what I thought was mild tearing... I found out later from my husband that Doctor Fee had given me an episiotomy against my wishes which I had expressed both verbally and in a written birth plan. I remember her telling me as she stitched me up that it was a mild "tear" and I know now that it was a flat out lie. I guess she just got sick of hearing me scream and wanted to speed things up. That's a medical necessity, right? I have since had two other births and another baby due in May and I KNOW that I can deliver naturally without tearing. If you go with Janice Fee and don't want a huge scar, ask your husband or dula to guard your perineum😊.

On a more positive note, she did a very good job stitching me up... lots of episiotomy experience, I bet.

Dr. Fee is the best! She is so wise and I'm very pleased with the office and the care from all of the staff. I have been a patient for 10 years and have had a normal delivery and laparscopy by her. Dr. Fee is a blessing! She has been a big help with my endometriosis and infertility. Her prices for infertility treatments are more affordable than reproductive centers. I refer all my family and friends to her.

To the point, knowledgeable, and no bull. She knows her stuff and when the cord was wrapped around my baby's neck I was SO happy she was delivering my baby. She did both my deliveries. She is amazing. I also went to her for reoccurring infections and she always had good ideas to try. The past year was hard to get into her office so I started doing checkups at my GP but she now has 2 or 3 more nurses in the office and I love all of them. The actual office staff however, I would probably agree with the comments below. They are always brisk and never introduce themselves and seems to be a bit of turnover. I really appreciate Dr Fee's knowledge and experience though. I love her!

Had a hysterectomy 3 l/2 years ago. During surgery Dr. Fee clipped my ureter tube, leading from kidney to bladder. vomited for 2 days in hospital. Was in severe pain. Went home and tried calling her 5 times. Finally, a nurse said that I had gas in a muscle. Went to my 2 wk checkup and told her I had mid back pain and had lost 10 lbs in 2 wks. Her comment to me was "just you look good on the outside, doesn't mean you are healed on the inside. After 4 months, my GP sent me to get a body scan, cuz my blood pressure was so high. They found that during surgery, she had clipped the ureter tube leading from kidney to bladder. Kidney had been shut off. Due to an amazing urologist, he was able to said the deteriorating kidney. Had an ultrasound recently and tech said that another patient of Dr. Fee's was in and she had lost her kidney. They did not find it in time. I was lucky. Be very careful.

This staff is cold and incosiderate of your feelings and your time. As far as the Dr. I really can't say. After going to this doctors office 5 times I only met her once. They will give you a hard time transferring your records and and they will treat you like less than just another # while you're there. If you like waiting an hour and a half past your appointment and then being told that you might not get seen because they may not have time then this is the office for you.

I love the doctor, but the staff needs help. I was rudely told today that the doctor doesn't take my insurance and we thought we had it all set as I have been her patient for 13 years. The receptionist was real rude and didn't offer any help or concerned that now I missed my appointment after they pushed it a month from when I had it already set. Now I can't get in to see her until after 40 days when my new group kicks in for my insurance. What a frustrating experience. I just wanted to be treated with respect. I was treated like a number by the staff, like my situation didn't matter. It would have been nice if they seemed to care that I arranged my whole day around this appointment that they put off a month and then I can't get in at all. R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

I agree with the others. She makes you wait way too long, even if they are no emergencies. I think they must prefer to treat pregnant ladies...forget anyone else that has other problems. We must be boring....

Dr. Fee's office and staff is more than amazing. They are patient and take time to work with you. Her nurse practitioners are the best bar none. My 9 months of pregnancy were made easier thanks to the staff at Dr. Fee's office. I can't praise them enough. They return phone calls quickly and they had answers. They were always there with comforting advice.

This office has been one of the worst I have ever been to. The staff seems to change quite often and I never know who I am speaking to. The doctor is usually late but once in the room she does seem caring.

I have been to Dr. Fee's office three time (2005-2007) and will not be going back. She is nice enough, but my annual exams were always rushed. Also, no matter what time of the day I made my appointment, there was always about an hour wait in the examining room (on top of the wait in the waiting room). I think she has too many patients.
