I was referred to this doctor by my companies disability department. He was 1/2 hr late in his appointment schedule. Outright lied on his report and was not knowledgable in the conditions that affect me. Dr. Ashendorf was given all my medical reports and MRI's and still misdiagnosed the condition. I also have an hereditary disease that affects my condition and he totally disregarded the affects of this on degenerative joint, bone and disc disease in addition to inflamatory arthritis. I am now appealing the disability denial that was based on his report while my doctors have stated that the condition leaves me totally disabled at this time. Dr. Ashendorf died during the summer of 2008. If he hadn't died I was prepared to file a report with the NJ Board of Medical Examiners for his incompetence and blantant lies regarding my case.

if he gives oxycontin for pain, he is my man, have had severe pain from Endometriosis for 30 years and have never had anything worth while for my pain, gonna go C him ASAP!

Doctor Ashendorf is an excellent physician. Extremely knowledgeable. Direct and to the point, but takes the time to answer all questions. He has been my doctor for 4 years, and I can not imagine going to anyone else.

All the people bashing him are probably insurance co's in disguise. Hes the best doctor and has been HIGHLY RATED. He is a wonderful doctor. He is very caring and takes the time to thoroughly explain everything that he has in mind as far as your treatment is concerned, and answers all questions that you may have. I have been going to him for 2 years and I have never had any problem with him.

Very poor patient skills and extremely condesending. there is a big difference between pain management and keeping someone stupified by medication over medicating. I switched specialist and now have my pain under control with therapy and minamal medication.

Extremely knowledgeable on almost every medical issue. Caring, blunt and frank. Dr. Ashendorf doesn't cut any corners and he gets right to the point. He always answers my questions sincerely and rationally, whether it's what I want to hear or not. Overall, he is an outstanding physician. Highly reccommended.
